I think heavy bags when empty are an absolute no, eventually I find it never gets used bc of that reason. I’m a little confused Mashid when you say you regret sending the 90’s bag back but at the same time you say it didn’t feel right. IMO that bag looks like a glorified cosmetic pouch and you made the right decision especially the price is ridiculous. I agree with you about The Row raising prices when something becomes popular. It will probably become even more apparent now that they are owned by Chanel.

..."Cosmetic pouch" was what held me back, but I loved how it felt and enjoyed styling it. To my knowledge, Chanel and a few other investors have acquired minority stakes in The Row. The Olsens will remain majority shareholders.

@@ThanksToFashion I see what you’re saying about the quality of a bag and how it feels but that’s where I feel am I being influenced bc other CC have it on SM or does the price really justify paying that $$$ for something that’s not that special looking. I once got influenced to buy a pair of jeans by Khaite bc a CC was recommending it and it looked so cool on her. I wasn’t over the moon by them when I got them but I felt I should keep them just bc she had them. I regret them to this day. I’m trying to learn from the mistake.

I just purchased the same Dutti bag in leather (burgundy) and I love it. The leather is soft and very roomy; I can even put my laptop in it. I am glad I got it as they are already sold out of that color.

I looked for years until I found a navy bag I loved, it’s a surprisingly hard color to find, but it’s one of my wardrobe basics. Last winter I finally found the one at Aspinal of London and it was even on sale. The quality is great, this is a nice brand. Also last year I got one of my favorite ever silk scarves from there, the Woodland print in burgundy and green, it’s perfect for this season’s colors, too. Speaking of colors, I love the muted ones you have been adding to your wardrobe lately.❤

I have a Chanel navy reissue and it’s such a versatile bag. I love wearing it with denim. I get so much use out of my navy bag. Love all the sandals…gorgeous and minimal, but I can’t deal with shoes that are even mildly uncomfortable these days. Maybe I’m getting old or maybe it’s because I have young children , but I won’t even wear heels that are up comfy anymore!

Thank you for sharing the shoes. With size 10.75’ it’s not easy to find. I recently purchased the row bare sandals, but boy they are really not comfortable and for that price returned it🤪 but now I am thinking I might buy them again 😳😂. It looks so beautiful on the foot . I had them in white. So these are much better price and if more comfortable, I would definitely get them in red. I wish they would be in burgundy 🤔 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I have the st Agni woven tote with the slim straps and I love it! I had originally ordered the large one you are talking about and it was so beautiful but I had to send it back because it was so heavy even without anything in it! I was so sad to send it back 😭

Just an advice from my personal experience with a similar shaped bag: as much as I love the MD tote bag, the base is too wide and it is sticking out too much from your body and in the long run I suspect it is going to be a problem.

I bought a used but new-condition ivory leather bag from Dooney and Burke. What I didn’t realize was how extremely heavy it is, even empty. As pretty as it is, I just don’t use it because it hurts to carry it. I won’t make that mistake again, every used item I’ve tried has been a complete flop. We just can’t get the detailed product information we can when buying new. I bought tops that were supposedly natural-fiber, designer ones that turned out to be super-cheap plastic ones with all the labels removed. The much-vaunted secondhand apparel market hasn’t produced a single good purchase for me, it’s back to new, better and fewer.

What is your opinion on the Manu Atelier Le Cabon 35? I think it's a great alternative to the Row 's one without trying to be an exact copy and I ve heard quite good reviews about the quality. I m between Le Cabon and Metier's Private eye(eventhough i can't justify the price). Love ur content btw❤

Very much hyped right now but absolutely beautiful with that belt detail! Metier's Private eye is stunning, has a really nice vintage and special feel to it. It looks heavy though (I have never seen it in person). Anyway, I think, if you are thinking of getting any of these bags just to satisfy the cravings for the Margaux bag then I recommend buying none of them or going for the more affordable version. 💕

I’m really disappointed with my first, and perhaps last, pair of Ancient Greek Sandals. One of the toe rings is only moderately uncomfortable, but the other is extremely painful. They are very flattering, I hope I can break them in eventually without needing foot surgery afterward!

It is really not easy to give reviews on shoes since every foot is so different. The AGS that I ended up sending back were not flat. They had a very soft and cushioning food bed.

Maybe! Their marketing strategy is undoubtedly targeting the pinnacle of the high-end market. By increasing the price, they want to make their bags less accessible and, therefore, less widespread (doesn't this remind of Chanel?), but the fake bag market really does make it difficult for them. Duplicating their bags is easy since they have almost no logos... 💕

The “heavy bag” is gorgeous, however. In the recent years I’m consciously looking for bags that are not huge, heavy, bad for my back/ shoulder. I carry my life in them (from laptops to umbrellas.. however I had to make a decision when my back pain was so bad I started living on painkillers. :(( Now I’m more conscious, I have the bag from COS, that you wear crossbody. (Also more conscious with packing 😅) Super lightweight, gorgeous satin brown (from last year). Will be amazing for this autumn/ winter too. I just cary an extra light tote with me if I need it. This bag is surprisingly roomy as well. Keep up the great work, sending support and lots of love- as always ❤️
