They had a very high chance in beating Thanos but pinhead ruined it, all I gotta say is Jason Slenderman Nemesis and tyrant carried the team. Nemesis could've ended Thanos right there but pinhead took it from him and chained up nemesis and then thanos got it back and snapped his fingers, and I also like how thanos actually put up a fight instead of just snapping his fingers deleting them all from existence.

Are you saying Thanos would have won? If so you're wrong. You've got a Supersized strength rampaging Zombie able to break walls by running through them also able to shoot out a red tentacle out to grip on to things and slash at. but also armed with 2 huge guns, Jason super human strength with the ability to come back from death multiple times, IT a fear feasting demon who can shape into what it thinks will scare you most so if Thanos had feared someone greater than him like Galactus, Pinhead a notorious killer able to teleport and control of hooks that could slow Thanos down also he's very resistant to damage like the others, I know nothing of tyrant but I assume he's big and strong and those claws look like they'd hurt. Slenderman whos a 6-7Ft tall, Power to unleash tentacle like things from his back, And the power to make one go mad and the power to teleport and lastly pyramid sometimes known to be invincible or really high resistant he's also talented with his weapons. Now although Thanos IS a titan and should be on a way farther scale than most beings were talking about Giant, Fear eating, Teleporting, weapon specialists that are all known to be immensely strong and able to take in blows. If we're talking 1 on 1 Thanos stomps a few for sure maybe even all with a near death experience on someone like Jason or Slenderman but if its with everyone at the same time Thanos stands no chance.

The earlier form was stronger than the crystal form since that was unstable and even that form was weaker than the universe . Though I have no idea who pyramid head is .
