It goes without saying that people will pray or supplicate and it will benefit others. Islam just limits intercession to not worshiping creations and teaches not to pray for forgiveness for those known to be Misassociators or Misbelievers. We pray for their guidance till they die. Taking each other's side in good and truth, even when separate does more than enhance legacies and memoires.
