She gets sold some ancient draconic artifact and it attunes to her, giving her the ability to overcome her injury. She tries to stay away from fighting, but eventually she's forced to in order to save Camilla. Alternatively, this is a world where technology exists. All they have to add is her feeling unable to live injured anymore, so she sets out to Politia/Reingar and gets mechanical enhancements that fix it.
