I think I heard there was something similar to my grandmother. She met my grandfather while he was on a base during WWII. Came back to Detroit with a wife who wasn’t the girl everyone set him up with. It was two kids and the Eisenhower years before most of his family spoke to her. But don’t take my word for it.
