I quit this game 2 months ago. 8 yrs... 400+ ships., I am a far less angry person. You don't realise it, this game makes you miserable.

Apart from the game itself (CVS, subs, dds with unreasonable camo levels/firepower/airstrikes), it's mostly the players that make me rage.

Sounds like some of you guys need some self control, It’s just a game - stop taking it so seriously! Also you probably mostly played solo games, without friends. It’s best enjoyed with friends in a division. I’ve been playing for 5 years, of which around 50% in one ship (Leg.Mod. Des Moines) and still enjoying the game with friends! Still trying to get to Halsey though, it’s hard!

I think the problem lies in the nature of the game. Being thrown in a match with 9-11 randoms (based on whether you div up or not),who largely impact the outcome of your games is just very frustrating a lot of times.

Once in a while I come here to see some gameplay, and you are right: the level of "Stupid" (George Takei voice) I see nowadays is mind blowing. It was BAAAD back in 2019, but now I think half the ships we see in game are Bots from Coop Mode released in Ranked to fill the teams. That Riga and that FdG were something indeed!

One man game LOL. 8 years on WOW never played ranked or clan battles. Been ask so many times but never did. Best advice is do not take this game to serious. Most of the mechanics are out of your control and RNG is baked into almost every aspect of the game play. I treat WOW like a trip to the casino its the same concept.

Once a thing is released to a public audience, the audience will tend towards a population profile such that the depth of engagement is inversely related to the fraction of the audience that reaches it - that is, the largest portion of the audience will only ever engage with the thing at a very shallow level, investing the bare minimum of their time & energy required to engage with it at all. In other words, it will be overrun by noobs, casuals, and tourists. Barriers to entry (e.g., paid tickets for a theater/museum, purchase prices for books or games, unskippable tutorial levels, etc.) may raise this minimum, but will not change the basic distribution: everyone starts out as a noob. If your thing has a good creative team behind it, they will be able to manage this (through good game design or direct community moderation), so that the incentives stay positive across the full population curve - the noobs don't feel completely locked out by their inexperience, and the experienced players don't feel like they're surrounded by toddlers and bots. Unfortunately, this job requires a completely different set of equally complex skills as does actually making the thing in the first place. My most tinfoil-hat take on this is that it's happening because WG is from Belarus, and anything from Russia's sphere of influence is going to end up poorly made, poorly managed, and probably a psyop.

Chess is - since Corona - also overrun by noobs. But online team chess battles where you get randomly matched in a team never became a thing ;) And yet, wargaming still has something against skill-based match-making...

@@ruffianeo3418 Yep - great way to make sure no individual player ends up feeling discouraged or bored. Soft-segregating by skill level is one of the things WG should be able to implement, but hasn't.

i played silver ranked last night and 70 % of my teams where dead within the 1st 5 mins. With me mostly being the last man standing. The players level of incompetence is unbelievable. Silver ranked is the bottom pit of the most useless try hard players. Been playing for years and what I miss the most is just a good match, not these one sided nonsense. So sad. I am going to put my self back to bronze ranked as it is more fun and there are less OP ships, which mean I generally get to have more fun matches. last night it was CV hell. with CVs being more than useless..

i also wish WeeGee would make ranked an average xp mode over say 20 games. You progress if for example in Bronze you average 1000 base XP, Silver 1200 base xp and gold 1400 base xp. This would stop the sweaty try hard useless players ruining what is meant to be a skill based game mode.

10:00 - I was waiting for this, but this game play is why I play mostly operations. The random battles are so bad. Worse, your team against those potatoes almost lost (your words). Toss in the ridiculous RNG, the make believe BS nonsense, and it just gets sillier year by year. But then, you could play world of tanks which makes world of warships sexy and smooth....

Made this comment on Trenlass's channel too, that I think the gameplay becoming worst is due to WG focusing balancing matchmaking for ships versus balancing player skill. I'm not saying T1 vs T10 but maybe a hidden +1 or 2 tier if your constanly wining to balance it out.

My my. It's unbelievable how bad these teams sucked. I think I liked it better when it took you a 4-6 months to get one T10. I can't complain though, I quit over 2 yrs ago.

Games get worst is one, but have you noticed that the players are getting more stupid now days. Just like the 2 who just yolo in and die. Sometimes i gonna think twice when there is a gold rank in my team.

If you have a PC split the screen on your monitor, put each screen side by side, synch up the time then go cross-eyed trying to see both screens with one eye on each, gives you a false 3D video.

The quality of player skill keeps on getting worse and worse because the turnover of players keeps on getting worse and worse - there are few that remain long enough to become skilled because they quickly become pissed off with the ridiculous CV and submarine mechanics and give up on it. This is what happens every time accountants get control of a game - they wreck it.

thee reason why i gets worse and worse is probably due to the average age of Wows players NOW being about 9 years old :P when the game was new the average age of the players was 27
