You could swap your regular pillow cases for colored ones. That would give you the pop of color without the work. Love the room makeover. Keep the finials because they are the jewelry and you like them. 😊

A friend of mine and myself decorated my bedroom, we took everything out of the room. she said only put in the room what is for bedroom. That cleaned the room up a lot. I recently used Howard's restore a finish on my kitchen cabinets and a dresser that was in bad shape. It would bring that dresser back to life with minimal effort. ❤️ the room looks amazing!

Hello, as Ariel was asked which pictures she wanted and was indecisive, asking which YOU would choose, it stirred my heart. I felt she wasn’t trusting her own judgement or doesn’t know what her style is. Over the years I’ve used what prints in clothing that a person chooses to gauge their art, and decor style. I gravitate towards realistic prints in clothing and wall art. I’ve found this helps me understand why I sometimes never wear something I purchased. I like things that I don’t love and feel me with. I’ve been able to avoid unnecessary purchases this way now. I’m excited for her new look, even the little boy was happy. Thanks for the video, I enjoy watching makeovers 🤗

I think it looked fine the way it was.🤷‍♀️ i liked the bed an TV where it was. I think one painted wall would have been enough. It looks soo dark, like a cave. Maybe that’s just on camera🤷‍♀️ The bed looks better with no pillows or the blanket on the end. I’d probably paint the dresser white just because it’s so dark in there. Live with it for a few days and see how it goes. If it’s not you, don’t be afraid change it to be what it is.

I loved this. But did notice in later videos Ariel put little table lamps by the bed. I had a desk lamp by my bed and it glared a lot so I used little lamps with white shades and smart bulbs I could tell Siri to change from bright to soft. Bright for dusting, soft for not walking into stuff at night.

Just a thought… your bedroom should be a getaway and relaxing oasis from your day to day life…once you place your work in there… and all the digital energy from the computer, accessories and tv combined… even when powered off, may affect your quality of rest and sleep . Love the makeover! I like to paint barefoot. That way I can easily tell if I step in paint and I can clean it up right away. Sometimes you might drip a drop and then the next thing you know there is a random trail to the kitchen. lol I do vote to leave the ends off the curtain rod. Those are kinda dated but if it makes you happy then you should keep them. I do have a suggestion for the dresser. I will take one of the kids markers and color in the scratches to hide them.
