Really awesome collection! I’m glad I’m not the only one who loves getting the Evan Williams Derby bottles. Love the Evan Williams profile cranked up at the higher proof. Cheers

A custom bourbon travel case with allocated samples. That's elite. Who in their right mind wouldn't invite you to their party? 😁🎉

Nice bottles, I've watched a few of your videos, just subbed after seeing your "Tools." Cheers Brother 👍🥃

I'll be one of the haters - I simply don't understand the collector mentality on bourbon. This guy strikes me as someone who deals a ton on secondary and that's one reason why he has so much allocated junk sitting around unopened. That's fine with me. The real hate is this - If you can't walk around your house and show someone your bourbon without getting winded... ya need to set down the bottle and go for more walks. Stop sitting around your house drinking (and probably smoking) and get some exercise. You're gonna be dead pretty quick if you are in sub 80 and get winded standing around talking to people. The bourbon community is full of massively out of shape people and the hobby is hard enough on the body. Get some exercise, limit what nights of the week you drink, and trade maybe 10% of the time you do focusing on bottles on making a few healthier meals. Your bottles are cool, but they will be far less interesting when you are dead. I'm not here to say you need to be jacked, just at least in good enough shape where you aren't winded just looking at bottles. That's CRAZY.

I actually agree I have a couple friends like him. Yet I'm 44 good shape fit and athletic keep max 25 bottles and I share my whiskey. Having this much Bourbon I feel is silly

I just picked up two the KCCS ryes. Local store unburied a case, last month, that had been sitting in their receiving area for 6 years lol. Banger vid, bro 🥃👌🏼🦉

Nice The Bourbon Dude showing all his stuff now. I want the Bourbon Dude know even though we don't see all of it, I still love his channel.

Great video and awesome collection!! Don't drain pour the Laws! I didn't get any craft notes on my single barrel. But if there are odd tastes on the nose and palette, wash it through a brita filter once - basically like a Lincoln County process, that should do the trick. And if it doesn't, wash it through the filter 15 times, haha! It doesn't make the whiskey sweeter, but it will remove a lot of the offending notes.

Outstanding collection. I've got a lot of the same bottles, but man, you got some cool stuff. I found an OF 117 high angels share. Lucked into it for $67.

I bought that same Early Times a few years ago in one of the rougher areas of Chicago. I couldn't pass on that, OGD 86 proof, and a dusty Old Forester 86 from the same store. Even left a couple extra on the shelf for the next guy. Those types of bottles are all long gone now with so many people interested in bourbon. Dusties now seem to be an occasional 2020 bottle or an older label Wild Turkey.

I commented way to early. WTF Bourbon Dude. I am impressed but I am also more impressed you don't flex more on your channel. Very humble of you sir.

Your wild turkey is newer than 2015, the 90s bottles looked drastically different. You can tell it’s 2015+ because it doesn’t have Austin Nichols on the front label.

sick collection man. I am curious as to where you got your shelving in your kitchen that is holding all of the EHT, Eagle Rare etc. I am pretty sure I have been pushing the upper limit of what my current shelving can support haha.

Nice collection it sure is a lot of work then collecting since 1991 never knew it would go so out of control My problem is opening the bottles😢 I can't bring myself to do it now pushing over 3,500 unopened bottles I'm getting a little bound up.. I prefer tequila as a drinker but just got into the collecting side of bourbon many years ago and never looked back

Ngl I say I shop almost exclusively on base for whiskey, and never seen the bib jack Daniel's, it's always the bonded. But hey same stuff just different label.
@Ubions10 күн бұрын
It’s not the same stuff
@SHHDADDYSWORKN10 күн бұрын
Oh I didn't realize, what's the difference between the two?
@Ubions9 күн бұрын
@@SHHDADDYSWORKN bonded is more oaky and unrefined nutty flavors whereas the Bib is has more banana and creaminess. Also the there’s the price difference with the Bib being a 1 litter and typically cheaper than the bonded 700ml
