My name is Kendal Johnson, I’m a married 26 year old dad/farmer. I farm with my grandpa (papaw), dad, siblings, uncles, and several cousins. Our operation is called Stahl Farms, a family farm in Southwest Ohio. We farm corn and soybeans with lots of red equipment. My goal is to show a little bit of everything. I’ve seen several case combines with kinked auger tubes they don’t use as thick of metal as some of the others. But today’s augers are getting so long they need to start putting gussets on them or that problem is only going to get worse for all brands. That’s a long tube to not have gussets on it.

Every color is being made cheaper. I think case historically always been made cheaply. We have a neighbor that runs case and he's always broke down.

Depends on which part of the Combine we are talking about. Ag Twitter is mainly New JD Breakdowns, with some guys having replaced the Same Part, 3 Years in a Row since New! CNH has the Cheapest Unload Augers, especially the Folding Augers, out of Any Manufacturer, Worse than JD, Claas, & Gleaner. JD has some of the Cheapest Internal Parts. Bearings, Etc, A lot of Worn Out Part before 700 Hours. Sheet Metal with Holes in them at less than 1,000 Hrs. Point being JD & CNH are the Cheapest Built Machines, with the Biggest Market Share.

@taylor11089 The cheapness of CNH goes a lot farther than the augers. Hydraulic pumps, seals and gearboxes. not to mention the technology are all junk.

Get a few California dusters they work amazing for cleaning combine windows. I always use it when I shut down while the combine is cooling down. Work awesome up in Alberta not sure about you Ohio boys
