My great-grandmother worked at the factory in the early 1900's. We have a neat photo of all the women workers out front the factory with cups that were seconds. They were allowed to use for their "fika" coffee break but then had to break the cups and discard!

If someone wants to fix oxidation or corrosion as in the cherub lamp, I used textured spray paint in the metal color to match, specifically "Hammerite Rust Cap" in gold (antique gold). It has built in primer and it still looks brand new. Lamps are easy to take apart, unscrew it where the cord goes into the middle post.

If the lamp is brass, that discoloration could be actually patina. Removing patina could affect the value by erasing the true age of it.

I always stop into Restore when I pass by. I've always done well there. Even bought my fridge there, 500 for one never ussd out of a model home. It was originally over 2k.

I found this info that might help, Candlewick feels lighter and more refined than Boopie glass. For example, the bubbles are separated, and Candlewick does not have the pairs of raised lines extending from the beads toward the glass stems. I hope this helps.

There's a great antique store in Northeast, MD, Cecil Co, plus a huge flea market in Harford Co on Sundays early, we use the bingo hall. I had alot of beautiful glass priced in your spending. My husband and I went to a Restore in NJ, the prices were outrageous, they were selling glass sculptures, vases trinkets all marked Murano with Murano prices, not one was Murano, they had a tea cup and saucer marked Germany for $85.00. I won’t be going there again!

I have one of those stores in my area. Have never been. Think I will go. Beautiful stuff today. It’s travel season. Maybe a little section or shelf, in your booth, dedicated to travel would be good. It seems to consider where the Habitat Restore is to their prices. Ones near me can be high, but there are some in western NC that have fantastic prices. I watch a lady on KZbin who shows what they are carrying and the prices.

Keeping an eye out for “spendy” places having a 1/2 off sales makes them reasonable many times. My Goodwill in Annapolis can be pretty high but they had 1/2 off the last Saturday of the month making them good for resale. And some Goodwill’s have a Senior Day for 55 and over 25% off one day a week. My favorite is flea markets.
