Mc was already awakened. That’s why he was listed at E rank. You can’t be given a rank and enter gates without being awakened. If you don’t awaken and don’t have magic power in you the gates will reject you and not allow you to enter.

Re-awakened, not awaked. Awakened is when they become hunters regardless of the level and re-awakening is when they have a life/death experience and are able to unlock more power than what they had originally. That'll most likely be explained more in detail near the end of the season.

He almost died multiple times during raids but he still had courage to go into the dungeon despite knowing he might die. As they said, courage is not the absence of fear, courage is acting in spite of fear. This point is the whole reason the story of solo leveling happened.

This is one of the reasons a lot of people fell in love with the MC. He’s not the over the top, “I’ll save the world” type of trope. He’s real, relatable and we can all feel for him, especially when he said “I have a family too, I wanted to go home alive too.” Which makes him the bravest out the whole bunch.

Jinwoo is thinking that the only things allowed to move in the room are the statues, and the statues only move when someone is close to them (besides the big statue that's chasing them around), so he's thinking that if you get close to the statues with instruments that they won't attack. Instead, they'll play their instruments.

It's actually funny how they did this, because the blue flames are the timer running out and the red flames are the party selection screen for the quest, that's all. So there's a max amount of people that can join the quest and the rest will have to leave. In this case, one player stayed and therefore only a party of one player joins the quest while the rest made it out. If you look back at the entire thing with the knowledge of how it works, it would've been incredibly easy to enter the quest without anyone being in danger: 1) Everyone enters the room and they wait until the doors close 2) Everyone bows their heads to the large statue 3) You make sure that every statue with an instrument has one person in front of it while the rest can chill in the middle. I suggest doing this before everyone bows their heads to the large statue so its attack mode won't be triggered 4) As soon as the big statue is back to its throne or the music stops, at least 6 people walk towards the middle to start the timer represented by the blue flames 5) Make sure that every statue has at least one pair of eyes on them 6) If there are any excess people there in the room, they can safely leave now through the open doors 7) Wait until the timer runs out and the remaining people will get a party selection screen after which they can start the quest

No one would get it. It sounds logical with hindsight. You enter a dungeon where monsters kill humans on sight every time. None of the statues chases after you even after killing someone. You see these commandments but you don't know what God they are even talking about. You think the big statue but what if it's the one holding the tablet? Even if you lower your head and get lucky on the first one, how would you know how to praise him? That's why that guy got step on because he said the wrong prayer to the wrong God. Statues are killing you if you get too close and the giant one is trying to crush you as you run, seeing the instrument statues wouldn't cross your mind since you think they'll kill you too. Even if you convince people to stay, there's a good chance that not being the end or everyone in that circle got to die. If everyone left, the door closes. You didn't notice but Sung Woo was staring at the statue that was attacking him and it was still moving. As the time goes down the statues all move no matter what until one flame remains.

Yep, but it's not like you're typical leveling animes either. The MC actually focuses on what's important and tries to become stronger. No big boob, short skirts harem with slice of life but the MC focus on getting stronger. Small spoiler, the system doesn't play around either. You'll see.

This whole thing is exactly like a gimmick boss in a video game, or a raid in Destiny 2 (yes I play that game, yes I need help) I mean, think about it You have three mechanics: 1.) Walk in, bow your heads to the statue, triggers phase II 2.) Preemptively position everyone near a statue with an instrument. Presence of single party member triggers each statue. Once one is active per party member, end phase II 3.) Once all party members at the alter, exit opens. Preemptively place party members watching one statue each. Trigger phase III. Statues gain the ability to move when unobserved, flames alight in rings around alter. Orange/red for number of party members, blue for the power animating the statues,. Once all blue flames are extinguished, end Phase three If the mechanics of that room and “game plan” are followed, there would’ve been zero casualties, and thirteen players Let that one sink in, manhwa readers

Well the last command was to prove your faith or something depending on the translation. So if they all stayed and kept looking at the guard so they wouldn't move, they would have all made it to the player Level when the blue flame would have run out. The mc got wrecked only because there weren't enough people to look and freeze the guard. If they all prove their faire they would all be able to unlock the dungeon and level up. 🤔
