We have this same tractor at the hospital and putting the mower deck is a real pain. This hack makes it much easier....thanks!

SWEET! I'm really glad that you got a lot out of this video. This certainly helps negate the frustration of butting the deck. not a lot of room under there to work. Thank for your like and subscribe!

I used one of my loader tractors to lift the back end of my GR2120 this summer when I ran the belt off. Took a couple tries to get the right height. I will try this next time. I bet that will work very well. Never thought of that. I learn something from every one of your videos.

WOW! Thanks! That means a lot to me. I'm too beat up to crawl around on the ground - seems I'm always expanding my collection of metallic body joints (shoulders, knees, a hip). I can remember my father saying "work smarter, not harder." now I know why. Thanks for your comment and for watching my video! You're continued support means a lot to me!

@@BotaTrac Too old? You are just a punk kid yet. I am 64. Will turn 65 in June if I can survive all the craziness. Sure glad to live in the country.

great information for the community - I agree, it's a tight squeeze connecting the mid-mount pto shaft - thanks for sharing

You bet it is - and I sure ain't getting any younger!! The added space really does help me out mounting the mower deck. Thanks for watching and commenting! I really appreciate your support! Please like, share and subscribe!

This is great man! Makes it so much easier and very simple. Iv tried this before but since I’m always in a hurry I stopped doing it haha.. but once I get a little older I’m sure I’ll change my mind!
@BotaTrac4 жыл бұрын
Yeah - just a little more room to move around and get leverage to connect the PTO shaft. Lord willing your body will stay healthy enough that you 'll never need to do this again!! LOL!! I know that like me, you don't take off your mower deck unless you HAVE to. Thanks for the comment and I'll be checking out you latest video tonight brother!

@@BotaTrac haha you got it man! And yah I have to agree the PTO shaft connection is def the most difficult, I try to keep mine lubed with chain grease as it’s thin enough to help it slide nice but not thick enough to collect all sorts of crap.. any lube would work tho but I find if it’s not lubed a few times a year it makes it a son of a gun to get connected after it’s been off for awhile. Great video as always and sounds good! 👌

What about backing up on a set of car ramps ? Would that work or be too high ? Nice hack !
@BotaTrac3 жыл бұрын
Not a bad idea! But, anyone with a brain and the ability to reason could have done that. LOL! 😝 Knuckleheads like me have to do everything the hard way! Ha ha ha. I truly never thought of the car ramps. Thanks for your comment and for watching my video! Stay well!! Please like, share and subscribe!
