Fair play for being so calm and good. But best of all understanding that things happen, no one was hurt apart from pride and the wallet. Not all farmers are like you as I know too well. Well done to all involved in moving the absolute colossal beast of a thing !!!

Good Morning Mike! I have seen my share of farm equipment accidents, but this is a first of this type! Looking at the damage from our angle, it looks mostly cosmetic. That could be straitened and welded, ground down and painted; or you could put a nice patch over the whole area. We deal with fog all the time, and it's the pits! The best wishes, and GOD BLESS OUR FARMERS! Without our farmers, this world would be a VERY hungry place! Gary

Great attitude, Mike - just like how I would see it. As far as accidents go - this is peanuts, if even that. Swerving that auger in traffic could even result in injuring or killing someone, so I think your transporter must have been a good one to see it so soon. Dents like that happen in a split second. Top content, and thanks for sharing some mishaps, that´s how we all learn.

Mike, I was giving some thought to the cattail burning in a previous video. If you had a way to press them down so that the material was more compact they would burn without your having to combine them. (Which I thought was hilarious btw.) The roller that you use on some planted crops would press them down nicely but I am afraid it would do the job too well and just press them into the soil. You could also try something like a piece of railroad rail or steel pipe if you have it and just drag it over the cattails. As for the damage to your drill, like you said the glass is half full if not 9/10ths full. Only minor cosmetic damage and no one got hurt. I love watching your “adventures”, they make me long to be a young man again!

I was in shock when you walked up to the Fendt. I have never seen another tractor that I like the design of so much! I don't really like Green or Red too many little stupid designs, love Yellow on the construction side, but now I will never be satisfied with anything else! Lol The air drill gave me a similar feeling of awe, that I would enjoy operating or maintaining it. I am out in California, so not much chance of me finding anything that big lol, but I was driving in fog like that several days recently. Not fun. Guess I will have to watch more of your videos to see what other cool equipment you have!

03:30 haha dirty tractors, heck you should see those we have here, they run almost 24/7 a season, people switching crews, different people in and out, then the mechanic in and out, ohh suddenly we are drilling but then you have to go and do liquid manure, then back to drilling and even a new tractor after around 1 season they look like 10 year old. I guarantee you do not wan't to take your shoes off in those. But nice video, thanks for sharing.

I have been wondering about 1050 for months, if it was sold. Absolute curiosity if selling in a poor crop economy vs poor inventory market for tractors. High market value vs no warranty.
Perhaps worth just throwing some weld into the big dent to make sure there's no cracks, grind it down, and give it a shot of paint to stop the rust? Fortunately that thing looks darn tough and shrugged it off for the most part!

A minor incident really. Nobody was hurt but some feelings and a little paint! Locally last week we had two teenagers meet a combine moving between fields without the header on a blind curve without an escort. The car collided under the feeder housing with two fatalities to the occupants of the car which also caught fire along with the combine. Bad deal all around. The operator of the combine walked away from the accident.
