This is "Marlo Thomas' That Girl Magazine", featuring the first woman to win both the two-time Emmy awards, and the daughter of Danny Thomas; Marlo Thomas.👍

Oh Lew. Drives me nuts. 'Whatever happen to calling your daughter before arriving at her place,'

Lew is a complete and utter idiot. He should have been a once in a great while character on the show, too much of him is a pain in the ass. In real life, Donald would have left her rather than put up with Lew and his wife. They're nuts.

Pins can be so tricky because the fabric has to be thick and strong enough so that it won't lean over....

My mom in 1969 looked so much like her. Same hair minus bangs, wore blue eye shadow, false eyelashes , eye liner, fave color was sky blue which she wears a lot, and had pins too. Wore dresses most of the time. I looked like my mom. Kinda hard to watch at times. Lost her when she was 28 and I was 7.

@@bethr8756 her father was obsessive, overbearing and disrespectful to Don. Even Ann’s mother had to tell her father that he was overbearing and overreacted!

@@mariahyohannes Well no he wasn't obsessive. He was a great father. Now since it was a comedy, how he treated Don was hilarious! But there were moments when he and Don connected for instance, at Don's bachelor party! When Mr Marie came out the cake! He was a protective father , and we must remember it was a comedy.

Don's reference to his editor and a Pat O'Brien movie must be The Front Page, a comedy where O'Brien was manipulated by his editor, Adolph Menjoue. The movie was remade with the O'Brien character as a woman and ex-wife of reporter Cary Grant in His Girl Friday, an arrangement the fine writers of The Front Page immediately recognized was superior and wished they had written it that way themselves. But then Don wouldn't have referred to Pat O'Brien here.
