On a 7 string, it's a FA#FA#D#GC, so basically it's drop A#, and the 7th string is tuned down to F. This is the same as Northlane's Quantum Flux. So if I'm off here, just check out the tuning for that song and you'll be good to go!

How you get that cool tone

yo! If you're meaning that high-mid, 'twangy' sound when I pick the low string, it is usually 3 factors with the most important one (in my experience) almost always being the string gauge + new strings. If you're tuning super low and have a really thick gauge on, the result is a more rounder sounding note compared to a brighter "bwahhh" sound when using thinner gauges, if that makes sense. With that in mind, you're gonna have to experiment a little and find the right gauge for your guitar depending on your scale length. The sweet spot is typically a thin enough gauge where you can achieve that bright-sounding characteristic, but not pick your string out of tune. My guitar in the video is a 26.5" and I have a .074 on the 7th tuned to F and that works for me since I tend to pick kinda hard. The lighter the gauge, the more clarity you will have but you’ll also need more control and technique. Jason Richardson plays on a 25.5" and he tunes to F# with a .058 The second factor is your picking technique. You don't necessarily need to pick SUPER hard but putting some 'oomph' in there helps a lot. Try to picture it like you're attacking your string, you want to try and strike fast and with confidence. Also try picking a tad closer to the bridge pickup! And the third is a tubescreamer. Throw on a TS808 or a Precision Drive (99% sure it's a Fortin Grind in this video as per AA's Nail the Mix session with ERRA) and it'll clean up your low end a lot, giving your notes a ton more clarity. If you're strictly talking about the tone, this is done with STL Tonehub! It's the ERRA preset from the Atrium Audio II pack. Best of luck!

LMAO I swear I'm not lying to you, but it's the stock Fusion Edges. The only modifications I've done to this guitar is adjusting the intonation, string height, and truss rod. Keep in mind that a great DI signal also contributes a lot to a great tone. The difference between a balanced and unbalanced signal can sound subtle and negligible at first, but becomes more and more drastic the longer you work with audio and acquire the ears for it. Same can be said about interfaces and the preamps that come loaded in them. I started yielding great results since upgrading from my Focusrite Scarlett to their Clarett+ line. Also fun fact, IA's guitarist Keaton used to have this bad boy in full stock as well 😂😂
