I forgot how fast the solo was. Love Anthrax since the beginning. I was confused a bit by the video because if memory serves (it might not) the song came out way before the Stallone movie. And I didn’t think it was part of. 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻

Spreading the Disease, Among the Living, and Persistence of Time all have a ton of killer songs. Sound of White Noise is when John Bush debuts as the new vocalist, and there's a shift in musical style as well, though not bad by any degree. Stomp 442 and Volume 8 are more classic Anthrax sound, and are still great overall.

For Anthrax anything off the Among the Living album is gold. The album State of Euphoria is great with songs like Be All, End All and Antisocial. A.I.R. off their second album is fantastic. I’m the Man is a novelty rap song but it’s very entertaining as well. You need to check out Flotsam and Jetsam. Jason Newsted founded them before he joined Metallica. They’re the next best band after the big four, along with Exodus, Testament, and Nuclear Assault. F & J songs like Hammerhead, Dreams of Death, She Took An Axe, and Der Fuhrer are absolute classics.
@BrandonBames3 жыл бұрын
Awesome! You’re actually the first person that’s mentioned F&J to me outside of a Behind The Music, I’m DEFINITELY adding them to the list. Newstead took on an impossible task - picking up after Cliff Burton, and absolutely killed it while bringing his own style to the mix. I wasn’t that into Echobrain but I’m excited to check out other stuff he’s been involved with!
@gvehar3 жыл бұрын
F & J’s first album Doomsday For the Deceiver is great, it’s an epic journey. They remixed the album for one of its anniversaries and I actually liked the remix better. The drums kick way more… but the original is fine as well.

Frankie's Bass Tone is Epic, (Up there with Dave Ellefson (Megadeth)) Great Track but INDIANS is THE Iconic, Epic track from this album. Scott's Rhythm just masterful, sadly (my own opinion) Dan Spitz leads on all tracks. (meh) never rated his solo's whatsoever. Charlie's Drumming is Phenomenal and Joey just owns it :)... as Sharon Osbourne stated Ozzy will only tour with Anthrax again if Joey is the lead Vocalist :)
