Iginla has to be the all time leader in Gordie Howe hat tricks, the last of his kind (the fighting superstar). Gordie Howe didn’t actually have a lot of the Howe Hat Tricks that were named after him, he was too busy scoring actual hat tricks. Iggy was always good for a fight, a goal and an apple every couple of games. Absolute monster of a player

It was so true as well. You didn't want to play him too aggressively and get him emotionally involved in the game. You wanted to lull him into being a perimeter sniper. Once he got mad he activated his power forward mode and became a wrecking ball.

It’s good to see that Ryan Kesler’s tough guy act is as much of a joke now as it was when he played! He was a dirtball & a coward as a player … proof: Jarome Iginla, who was 1 of the most gentlemanly players & all-around good guys in the NHL, wanted to lay a beating on him at 1st sight, every time they played. Iggy wasn’t the only player who felt that way about Kesler either … I know Milan Lucic had some choice words about Kesler when the 2011 Bruins Zoom-watched the 10 year anniversary of Game 7.
