I don’t think torts is the story telling type. Miss him in Columbus. He coached a young team to play above their ability every night. Now we have 2 super stars and can’t win a game.

Torts doesnt mince words. He lays his cards on the table, good or bad. I respect that. He's a straight shooter.

He's a miserable old fool. Since a well-stacked Tampa team got him a cup, he hasn't done jack squat anywhere else, except waste Lundqvist's prime in NY, and be less than mediocre in Columbus. Sutter is a guy you look for fair and honest accountability. This clown and Therrien are miserable old men brought in as last resort when a team has zero structure. They do not win a damn thing once their act gets old quickly.
@justinfalzon68542 жыл бұрын
@@95PoundMole Im a Rangers fan. Disappointing Hank couldn't get a cup but its not all Torts fault. A lot goes in to winning cups. Rangers never had a game-breaker or dynamic scorer and we lost too many close games not being able to score. And F Dan Girardi and his NO LOOK BACKHAND PASS out the zone in OT. Amateur hour. Defense: dont no look backhand pass out of the zone. Stupid. Even in mens league. (Actually happened to me in mens league BEFORE the Girardi thing and the ref even said it to me).

@@jon8004 I'm sure Torts, Babcock, Keenan, and Therrien love puppies and rainbows off the ice (where they belong). That doesn't make them any less unprofessional bullying A-Holes on it. No one should have to go to work worrying about physically fighting their superior, in any normal profession.

Wish someone could find the video of Torts his first time around coaching the Rangers, before he coached Tampa. He finished one season as interim for a few games and the Ranger team had basically quit and was just going through the motions. There was a post-game interview where he ripped the team up and down, and this was before he was famous and had some stature. Most brutal coach comment on a team ever and best coach interview ever, but who knows if anyone has the video tape.

I'm in Vancouver and he was didling Corey Schneider"s fienza during his time here in Vancouver and it is a true story. Schneid's lost it and went to our GM at the time Mike Gillis and told him either he goes(Kesler) or I go(Scneids) Schneider ended up getting traded to the Devils for their 9th overall pick which the Canucks used to draft Bo Horvat ninth overall. Kesler ended up staying but there was a team vote to have his captaincy removed prior to the season and Kesler was not too pleased about it. He then gave the Canucks a choice of teams he would accept being traded too with the Ducks being one of them.
