That is a rare piece of MM history!

We took the time to go to the Thumb Area Old Engine & Tractor Association Show 2023. I didn't think we would see a very rare Minneapolis Moline DHD236-4A diesel power unit on display. This was an awesome surprise.

My father made his living for several years keeping the stationary motors running on water wells for the Rockefeller farms at Texline, Texas. They were the large 4 cylinders and 6 cylinder Molines. I think they all ran on natural gas though.

Dan most of are stationary engines in this area are for irrigation. They are diesels. They use to be some m m engines on propane. They run flood irrigation with them.

the 1ST power unit looks it was made in 192OS OR 193OS alot tractor company's made power units U don't see them much now they use 2 on the farms years ago they a pto clutch on them and they use them 4 flat belt work 😊😊 8 14 2O23
