No redness, flakes, or anything that indicates inflammation. It's the weirdest thing. I've kind of learned to live with it. My hair and scalp appear healthy. My hair grows like wildfire. Itching is a sign of inflammation. If your hair is dry and pricking you it'll itch. If the scalp is dirty or irritated it'll itch. "Oil" won't fix that. You have to moisturize the hair (oil is not the same thing) and heal the scalp. Edited to add: Diet also has a lot to do with scalp problems. If you have a lot of dandruff, you're overrun with yeast and your overall health is poor.

Even if you don’t do a lot of retwists and you keep it in a pony tail too often your locs will also fall out. Too much tension because of the weight of your hair will pull it out, even if you haven’t had a retwist in months/years. Just because his scalp is red doesn’t mean the style is too tight. i had my hair braided so i could get weave chroched in to it as a way to help my hair to grow while i took a break from the daily grind of taking care of it before and after long hours of work. by day two my head started itching more and more and when i asked why it was itching so much, i was told that the itch meant my hair was growing and my dumb behind believed that ish and was excited to know my hair was already growing so quickly.. well needless to say, my head was itching so extremely bad until i could no longer take it by day 3, so i was able to sit down and my then fiance took the time to take all of the weave out of my hair. thankfully i already had very long and thick hair, but i cried at the large amount of my hair that fell from my scalp as we gently brusched my hair. the amount of my hair was enough to make a short hairstyled wig and even worse, i am very tenderheaded and i ended up having to use medicated sulfur-8 to sooth and heal allof the sores that i ended up getting all over my scalp. lesson was learned and after that very emotional and physically painful experience, i refused to let anyone other than my aunt, my mother or just myself to ever put their hands on my head again. i have a sister who loves her weave and everytime i see her or talk to her on the phone i have to ask her to please stop beating the crap out of her head. my mother, sisters and i always had naturally long hair and i hate to imagine how my sister has allowed the weave and clue used to destroy her beautiful hair because she is too lazy to take care of it for herself. you ladies, and gentlemen, please be very careful with whom you trust to care for your crown. stay blessed always.

Your hair looks awesome, but why not just let it be? Fluff out an afro? I did for year. I was sick and tired of the tension on my scalp. It hurt.

Love your channel been watching for days. I used to make wigs back in the day but didn’t do short cuz I couldn’t cut and didn’t like how they looked. You are making me want to try again. Can you please do more 613 pixie styles? What hair would you recommend
