It's troubling how long Mikey lets this go on without interference but I guess for Takemichi this is like Rukia stuck watching Ichigo or Kaien - fights for one's life vs fights for one's honour. I love what Mikey does otherwise, though. Him catching Pah is one of my favourite scenes across the whole series and the manga as well. He cares deeply about his friends and will do anything to protect them.
