That League Of Legends Anime is Actually Amazing!

The League of Legends Anime has really surprised me. Well I don't know if I would call Arcane an anime but no matter how you slice it, this show is one of the best things airing right now. So let me tell you why.

5:08 Victor being evil is no longer the case. He used to be, but his lore was changed that, he actually helps people, doesn't force them to join his "glorious evolution" and asks for their consent to change them into cyborgs. He isn't fully good, but he is not fully evil either.

@@ManimeMatt For anyone to understand Viktor being evil is no longer the case, I recommend this short but vital reading order. First, read Jayce's full bio. Second, read Viktor's full bio, which recontextualizes a scene from Jayce's bio and makes you realize that Jayce and Viktor were two good guys who were trying to do the right thing but they misunderstood each other in that situation due to a lack of information and communication. Their clashing of philosophies is rather more nuanced than one might initially believe. Third, read the Viktor short story "House on Emberflit Alley", the short story beloved by all Viktor mains and fans. You see a much more sympathetic side to Viktor, realize that Viktor being Best Boi in Arcane is no coincidence, and you realize that Viktor is passionate and adamant about bringing about his Great Evolution, but he will not force it on anybody; he cybernticallly modifies only those who ask for it or who desperately need it. Also, there's a god-tier fanart of "House on Emberflit Alley" that looks like it was official character art and you can easily find it with a search. Check that out as well. To abridge a quote from the show and add a little something to it, "When you're changing the world, don't ask for permission.... But when you're evolving humanity, _always_ ask for permission."

Arcane is specially good considering that I have 2 friends who have for years resisted any attempt to make them play League, and now they've watched arcane and are both playing like, 4 hours of league every day.
