The replacement dude for Marwan is actually the manager of the bass gang, Casper Fox. Also yes the reason Marwan couldn’t make it is because he couldn’t get his visa sorted out. He did however send in audio, so he’s still in the song technically. I believe he did mostly bassline, and then the Bb0s

The song was written for the movie (as was "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" Elton John wrote it for the movie). The difference you're hearing is their interpretation of the song. Let's face it, even though Scar is an evil character Disney isn't going to make him so dark and scary that the kiddos will get freaked out. The Bass Gang is going for a more mature audience so they can darken it up and make it more foreboding (Tomi is an expert at this, check out "Hellfire" and "Unholy").

Marwan narratively is in the lamp. Casper being in the video is so much fun. It is soo sad that Marwan was denied his visa but they have worked well in the videos to make it work properly. It is still Marwan singing though. Tomi P was the lead in this, Bobby was the one who walked off with the lamp, Marwan was the lead in Arabian Nights. This is the song from Lion King but they did their own arrangement so it sounds slightly different

This is monumental stuff! The Bass Gang's professionalism has grown in leaps and bounds as they are finally getting the opportunity to sing together, and not just in front of a green screen. They are all talented basses with wide vocal ranges. If you haven't discovered Casper Fox before now -- go find his channel! He is an amazing talent in his own right, and one of the forces behind the success of the Bass Gang.

I've been a subscriber since I first heard you. Marwan sings even though he couldn't travel, the lamp did. Caspar is standing in for Marwan. This is in the cave you saw in Arabian Nights. Peter pointed out the bats flying around.

Marwan was not replaced. The person is Casper fox and he is a friend and manger of bass gang. And yes the lamp is how they can tie in Marwan because he was sadly not able to come. And at the end of your heard it you can hear a muffled voice witch is Marwan who in the last video got sucked into the lamp. Hope this clears some stuff up

I had to re watch the Arabian Nights to confirm this but yes he did get swallowed. I didn’t understand it at the start. Oh okay thanks for clarifying 😊
