Hi Mike, you were talking about the reviews, and you are right, reviews can really affect a business, I always check reviews prior to visiting a restaurant I haven’t ate at before. I remember in one of your recent videos you stated that you were going to start adding “fillers”…. it seems that is the big complaint, and also the oil. You have a tough decision to make…I’ve had the Filipino burger full of fillers and I simply can’t eat them. I would offer two options… “the Canadian beaver burger”, and the “Roxas City Burger”. Westerners are use to paying 10-20 bucks for a great burger. If you are going to pitch “the best burger in Roxas”, it has to be at least 80/20 imo. Cooking oil is expensive, but again, you can have the best fries, fish, the best cook, if the oil is bad none of that matters. You have to decide if you want to run a western style restaurant with western prices or Filipino style restaurant. You can’t sell Filipino style food and market your product as western style. That will eventually catch up. The difficulty is you live in a city with few foreigners, and I don’t see that changing, not in a big way. So you may be forced to operate a Filipino style restaurant with Filipino prices. The Philippines tourism industry is slowing, I seen it again on this trip, just 2 days ago I was one of 3 Americans on the plane that wasn’t Filipino going to visit family. The American economy, credit card debt skyrocketing and the fact besides rent, everything else is far more expensive in the Philippines . Most men simply can’t afford it, so they become dreamers. I would gladly spend 800-1200 peso for a western style burger at your restaurant, I would rather pay that than pay 400 for a Filipino style. At least offer it, that is my opinion. I’m rooting for you, I’m a big fan of what you do, I’m just offering my honest opinions. I’m still coming there!

Mike, as you seen we had a hurricane here I live in the Tampa Bay area. I live in Parrish, Florida, right next-door to Sarasota Florida Saint Petersburg area. I’m OK with the hurricane I did OK it’s all the areas along the golf coast the beach areas most of them got all wiped out some houses. Some people have water in the house and some people just lost electricity, but we have another hurricane coming next weekend. I’ve been to the Philippines twice 2008 2010 and I’m looking to pack everything up over here in the USA and come live there in the Philippines. I’ve been looking at your Vlogs and you know where you live at, I will be paying a visit to your establishment. Keep up the good work and I like to say to you. I’m very very happy to see that you’re being a big big father to the baby girl. Laura and of course, mama Kat you were given to both of them the best life you are a standup guy and a good man to watch that little girl. It just brings back memories of me raising my daughter. My daughter today is 31 years old. She’s a registered nurse here in New Jersey anyway Mike you know I’ll be looking to come out that way soon, stay safe. God bless.

Yes Michael I'm in western Kentucky not like Carolinas we got like almost a foot of rain and in Carolinas and Florida almost 65 people dead and we have more storms brewing here in Kentucky and all states affected almost 10 million people without power just a rough storm !
