wow,so much of this looks exactly like everything i told him that he should do,and yet instead of a thank you,that's a good idea, he deleted all the comments-however i show by using my phone/camera and forward to my fiance who works all hours and as my fiance is always anal retentive ,photo's of my newly posted comments she's kept them ,regardless my phone has them all, and google says that there is a way to retrieve them all on your computer regardless,,so i never lose what i post..

I'm afraid those glass slides would easily break / shattered in case there are storms and very strong winds (Signal no 3 or 4). You should put steel railing reinforcements that you can just slide down to cover your glass doors.

I personally think it’s not worth it. You doing the renovations out of your own pocket plus the monthly rent. You should buy and own your own house and lot there if you can and then you can renovate or remodel it however you want it at least yours😊 and if incase in the future you decided doesn’t want to stay there anymore you can always resell it and make even more profit especially when you remodel it. 😊 I hope the owner is not taking advantage of you Michael. Anyway congratulations on your new business. ❤

The downstairs don't seem to be much higher than the tide, wasn't that the reason the ground floor was left as it was ? I mean, since it could be flooded in a storm. Now you have electrical outlets there, my oh my, seems a bit risky 😆

I can stay in a nice hotel in Florida on the water with jet skis, volleyball, pool, white sand and a great bar restaurant for 80.00 a night I cant justify paying that price in the Ph for no privacy bed and breakfast. I'm beginning to think with the cost of housing there going up it's really not worth it. Best of luck

2 year lease sounds like your paying to much in rent with doing that much work hate being the downer hope your not get scammed on both places putting that much into it all

You shld just be paying 10k for the rent there. The amount you are spending there is enormous. Hope you could make arrangement to the owner to lower your rent. You can afford it, yes. But I feel they are taking advantage of you.

Instead of creating a new door for the lower bathroom you should just close in the area where the normal bathroom door is. It will give you a short hallway and possible storage area completely inclosing that area with the rest of the house.

Michael, would you consider replacing the fence with glass fence so you'll have an unobstructed view of the water? Just a thought. Good luck!

Suggestion: Get the security guy a new uniform with shorts and short sleeved shirt. I feel for all the security people fully dressed in the heat. At least give them a choice. Be the first and start a trend. Cops in the southern USA often have uniforms for the heat.
