Start that project. It's calling to you for a reason. Now is the best time.
I have had to jump many hurdles of simply starting creative projects when they would call for me. Sometimes just starting is the hardest part, but it's always worth it. Here is why you should start that project if it's calling to you.
1. Stop Waiting - Now is the best time. If your soul is calling you towards a project, then you have to listen. The longer you ignore, the longer you postpone. Trust in the timing and like a green traffic light, go now. Because the light has gone off.
2. Building Your Body - Your body of work will be built one project at a time. But that can't happen unless you actually start. Having your own body of work is empowering as an artist because you are able to have an authentic expression of your practice. It is something under your name, not someone else's. So start building your body with this project.
3. Skillset - You must pursue artistic brilliance within your craft over time. And again, in order for that to happen, you must learn the lessons you're meant to learn from working on projects. So you need to start. And your skillset does not necessarily have anything to do with technical or theoretical skill and study by "researching" your craft. I'm referring to your inner creative genius. Work with that and develop that relationship.
4. Where you're meant to go - This project will bring you where you're meant to go. That's why your soul is calling you towards it. Stop being attached to how this all has to play out. Forget the details, that's a waste of your precious energy. Let go and follow the feeling. It will guide you to where you need to be
5. Reliable Outlet - Again, this is under your name. You are putting time, creativity, and energy into something that is yours. After all is said and done, you now have a piece under your belt. You can pursue this project with comfort knowing you are working on something for yourself and that will continually work for you.
6. Progress - It's not just about this project. There's always more. The root of your fear and perfectionism won't go away just because you ignore this project. So use this project as an opportunity to confront those things. Make progress in your life. The momentum created by starting this project will trickle into other areas and eventually the rest of your artistic journey.
And that's what it's about. The Journey. So start with this project.

Honestly, I thought I had tried everything... Meditation, manifestation, visualization but I always felt like something was missing. I never knew how to shine my light and make an income from it. I wanted to write a "creative U-turn" in the comments, just to get it off of my mind (in "The Artist's Way," this refers to any failing that happened). I spent $2500 on a Macbook in 2015, outright. I only made about 40 videos with it. Today it's dead, and I just peeled a sticker off of it that says "Today's the day!" while watching this video. What's funny about "Today's the day!" is that I've had 10 years of awful procrastination. So yeah, I'm going to let go of that money I spent, let go of the Macbook, let go of the 10 years of procrastinating.

OOoo, cinematic on this one stand out. But yea, there points where i just cloud 9'ing, working on my craft is second nature all that, got with progress ton:D WORKFLOWS!!
