Mate that tip about loosening up the drag when setting up and threading the eyes! Genius.

So wish I was down by the sea. Alas, my two weeks in paradise are over for this year, and boy do I miss it. Never mind, the missus and my two lads still living at home ALL agree, we ARE moving after Christmas, gonna give my months notice at work and head on down to Cornwall! Have spoken with plenty of Cornish agencies, and they guarantee, being a qualified, and time served (26 years!!!) carpenter, work will not be an issue. So, roll on 2023, the sea will be my all year playground, and, thanks to the fantastic knowledge and skill Matt, and a few others, have shared here on KZbin, we'll be feasting on fresh seafood on a regular!!! 🤍

Well I hope that it works out, I’m sure it will - best move you’ve made ! Certainly the fishing will be better , great for the younger kids too 👍 do update us when you catch that first fish from your new home.

Just received an email for a job interview, same job I'm in now, better money, great benefits package, except it's 250 miles south-west of nasty Coventry, in gorgeous Cornwall! Don't fancy a daily 500-mile commute, though, so, all being well, and I get offered the role, we'll have no choice but to move! Exciting times!!! Just wondering whether to buy some rag and lug in preparedness!!! 😁

Yes! I know a few folk who have made the move- initially they had a few issues with the change but now they all are so happy and can’t believe they didn’t do it sooner ! Stock up on bait those fish won’t know what hit them - quality of life for you mate 👍

Always good to see a bite caught on camera! It's quite hard to capture but I think one of the most exciting moments in fishing! Typical bass bite!

Cheers as always Kerry- yea the new GoPro does have an option to always record which is helpful. Nice to show everyone the difference a bass makes on the rod tip

Just come across this video. Just Started back sea fishing after several years away. . Excellent content. Love the addition of the minimum fish size laws. The tips on bait presentation also 👌. Clear to see why I'm missing so many bites. 🤦. Very watchable personality. Can't wait to see more. Tight lines. 🎣

Welcome Sir. Glad your back fishing again- lots of good stuff for the returning Angler on the channel, I think a lot of us have had breaks from coastal fishing at one time or another , many changes over the years and some ever presents too- please check out the videos as I’m sure there’s some more interesting bits here for you - thanks for the comment

Yes there have been years when my tackle gathered cobwebs while I hoped the fishing would improve. Never gave up hope - things change different fish ( non commercial) ones move in. We now catch dogfish, conger, plaice in numbers. These were unheard of 30 odd years ago. Flounders, pouting, rockling are conspicuous by their absence - they were one the mainstay in competitions!

Hi cliff , thanks yes 8 flounder today and I think you know this spot very well. The abrupt ending is a youtuber think because I notice people generally click off as soon as I make it clear the ending is almost coming . Look out for more of my videos ending that way I’m afraid. Mercy arriving soon for you Sir 👍🇬🇧

I know all about size limits but a Bass that size would make a nice meal for one. It would be much better to take that size (non breeding) than these people that land these whoppers that are breeding size. It's a tough call. 🤔
@SaltwaterAngler2 жыл бұрын
Yep there is some Evidence to suggest that- Some big bass no longer breeding as well.
