I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your work. Watching you interact with your tarantulas has helped me get over my arachnophobia. It took a few months of videos but I eventually became fascinated by them. I now proudly own G. pulchripes, B. albopilosum and a Discoid roach colony. Haha I'm from Australia so I usually get notified on a Saturday during work hours and I put my tools down and take a quick break to watch more dark den. But due to u putting up in your morning I now get a wake up notification on my Friday night here in Melbourne. These guys are all so cute, oh my gosh! I just love all their little behaviors, and the way they react differently to various stimuli like your stick or their food. Also I swear when they sit there after grabbing food, with their chelicerae a little spread, they look like they're grinning triumphantly :D "HAH! Got it!!" (\(\; ;/)/) ~

Some roaches could be bigger. I feed my tarantulas twice a year, they get a roach every day over a week or two. Then I don't need to feed them for the next 6 months. And no, they are not even fat ;) And the way you water the tarantulas... it would be a too big risk for me, but great that it works for you! Mine have always a big bowl of water to be sure they get some when they need it.
