I'm one week in after recovering from covid, I lost a bit of strength but lost a lot of stamina, I mostly feel it doing deadlifts and squats. The strength is there but I see stars real quick.

I've also got Covid, so I know your feeling, mate. I'm back to training, but I can't grind out of it. I get tired really quick or need longer rests between sets. Even my short 10'-Hiit in the morning become nearly a 20' cardio session. Positively, at least we can train again.

I’m not usually a guy for prank videos but you actually have the potential to make a seriously funny one. You should come into the gym with a loose fitting long sleeve shirt and act like you never worked out before and ask to work in and just rep out big guys weights and watch them react.

About the muscle fibers thing, it clicked in my head that in high school I had a friend who also came from Vietnam and this reminded me of him. In PE class the teacher would test our grip strength at the beginning of the year and without ever training he had the strongest grip out of the whole school.. as a freshman. Maybe a pure coincidence as far as both of your origins, but I do remember the teacher saying his type of muscle fibers was just on a whole other level than everybody else, which explained why he was stronger than the football players who trained every other day.

I got COVID like a month ago. Man it really takes a lot out of you when it comes to your strength and motivation. Take it day by day, you are going to have days where you feel good and other when you don’t. Listen you your body because I noticed that my joints are hurting, (usually never have joint pain) some from old injury’s in the past, so take it easy. It can be frustrating at times, but just focus on the little progress you make day by day.

Never give up man. Sometimes other people programs just won't work according to your own genetics and needs to grow. Keep on trying while also experimenting with maybe some heavier reps. On a bench day I do 135 half reps x25 for warm up, then 185x10 slow full reps, then 225x5 for slow reps as well. Then I finish it off with 250x4, then proceed to deload and drop back down and go in reverse. All pounds not kg, I don't know kg lol. Just to give an idea. Just never give up my man, keep on going and you'll achieve your goal. I'm currently 157lb body weight, benching right on the edge of 280lbs going for 315, not gonna stop till I get it. Kinda scared of a pec tear though lol.

You should look up some Jm Blakey videos he’s an amazing power lifting coach and I think you could benefit a lot from some of his videos if you don’t already know who he is

Hey Long, been watching all your videos for a while now but haven't seen you post a video on how u plan out a PR day, do you plan on making a video on it in the future?

check his gravitus program. there he lists what he does and calculate his 1 rep max based on it. all about the percentages man. Im pretty sure he skips a few days to prepare for a pr also

@@gsan4251 read that part and actually use it right now, but I thought he’d make a vid on how he warms up through the percentages or another method to a PR but couldn’t really find it. Thx for replying tho🙌🏾

my bench has barely moved in years. looks like your pyramid is tons of volume. frustrating cause i've paid multiple well known coaches for powerlifting. Do you do another volume day ?
