Matt like Grandpa Doss I never noticed the cat on Rambo until you pointed it out. The littles are getting so big already. Glad you weren't seriously hurt when you tripped over the pigs fence. Dogs love grass. I believed they ate it when they had an upset stomach. My vet said no they love it, eating grass for a dog is like us eating a salad.

Our girls love the Cabbage Hanger. We put ours inside the cop. Hung from the ceiling. Kept them busy when in coop until the door opens. Yes….girls will slip eggs out while free ranging….we find one once in a while. So happy your girls are enjoying Free Ranging. Hoping to get more girls to make an even dozen. Now that hubby built a big coop. Those pre fab coops did not work. Small door, small in all ways. So hard to keep it clean. My butt cant get thru the door! Big coop is wonderful. Hubby never built anything before. So proud of him.

I didn't say anything because sometimes I freak people out. 🤣 But yes, I saw the cat on Rambo's side a few shows back. Matt, you scared me. Glad you're okay. The weird thing about falls are, when you get to your 60's your body suddenly remembers each and every fall. I get back spasms now from falling on the ice in my 20's. And this was about 5 years ago I fell and my shoulders were both messed up. The Dr. wanted to operate, I said no. He wanted me in physical therapy 3 times a week, no car and I couldn't afford Uber or a Taxi, so no. He wound up giving me those shots that hurt like the dickens. The kind where he puts a camera in first so he could see where the needle was. Be careful now and you will thank yourself later. ❤️

To break your hens from being broody. Set them down in cool water for about 30 seconds. Some you may have to do a couple of times. Their belly temp is staying warm and therefore tells them it's time to set on the eggs. It works. 😊

You need to clean it out very well especially if a puncture wound. You could get Tetanus because of the unsanitary conditions of the pig fence etc. May need to get new Tetanus booster because of new injury. Hope you aren’t allergic to the Tetanus shot, I am and if bad or puncture wound I have to have antibiotics so don’t get infected. “Ounce of Protection is Worth a Pound of Cure” God Bless Everyone 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Hi Matt, Oh my goodness what a day you had!! Falling in a pig pin is never a good thing but you had your Dad there to save the day LOL and I would file that workmans comp asap!!! LOL You might hang those chicken bags on the little short shepards hooks they have in garden supplys. They might work. I love seeing that the little goats are getting braver around the bigger goats. I don't know what it is about the dogs eating grass. The only time I know dogs eat grass is when their stomachs are upset so they eat grass to throwup.
