And that 5 twenty is a record who no one ever will beat, never ever, it cant be done, simple as that. Ronnie's made so many 147s and I've watched all of them a countless number of times. It seems this one may rank as one of the best, considering his positional play was nearly perfect throughout. I’d tend to agree. I think the last red alone, followed by the cue ball finishing perfectly on the black, makes it his best. I think he’s the only player that looks like they know they’re making a 147 mid-break, the guy doesn’t pause for a second

The final red in this break - left-handed, near the cushion, wrong end of the table for the black - this is one of the best shots I have ever seen, particularly given the circumstances. If you don’t play snooker, you might not fully understand, but judging the distance of screw is a real tough one and because he’s coming across the line of his next shot, a couple of inches out either way and he’s out of position and the maximum is dead. He landed exactly spot on with perfect position to get up for the yellow. When you combine that with the difficulty of the pot and that he was playing left-handed, they just don’t come much more special than that.

As someone who feels I've done a good job if I manage 4 in a row, this is always mesmerising to watch. ;)

I love Ronnies smug proud face at 5:48 he knew he played that screw shot into the centre and back on the black at a perfect angle to get on the final red. If I was him I'd probably have that smug grin on my face all the time. Best player ever by far, he may be an under achiever in terms of rankings and tournaments because at the era of Hendry and Davis it was a different category of fish back then, in today's gave we have a lot more quality players that make tons. I'd love someone in the future emulate Ronnie and his talent with just as many 147's as he has made. But for now we have the greatest player on the snooker tour and once Ronnie retires there will never be another talented legend that meets his level, and I can count snooker will die as every player apart from Ronnie is at like 50-85% of Ronnies level.

Never ever be another rocket, he's simply the world's most topclass elite snooker player ive ever seen asking Ronnie if he knows anything about playing topclass elite snooker and making 147 maximum breaks, would be like asking Mr kipling if he knows anything about cakes 😂

Hes done loads of 147s in practice totally left handed all shots, you could cut his right arm off and replace it with a rest and he still could win a worlds.
