@@CrazedFandango Martin, I have to respectfully disagree that it was a reasonable question when PJ had already given her his first name (Peter) which he didn’t even have to give her, but she then questioned him as to the reason why he also wouldn’t give her his surname (there was absolutely no need for her to know his surname let alone question him as to the reason why he wouldn’t give it). Her reply to PJ pointing out that she should have informed him that her body cam was on (“that’s how it’s going to be is it”) was a flippant/sarcastic comment and in many cases it would have put a law abiding person’s back up and not resulted in a positive interaction.

The police are paid by the public via council tax to uphold the law and catch common law breaking criminals but they're clearly not doing that! They called them out and quick they were to attend to a harmless man doing a lawful activity, why would they be so keen to get there when there is no threat or crime being committed? Because they're looking to make up a charge to stick on someone who may be naive enough to allow them to abuse their powers so they can reach they're revenue collecting target. So who's wasting time here Dan?

While the police were good why were they there? 'We had reports that you've been into sites and recording on private land...' say you had, what would the police do about it? The problem starts with dispatch, if they get a call like that then they should give it the lowest possible priority and show up in a day or two and warn whoever called 999 what the number is for emergencies.

Good video. PJ as usual you were super. But it is worrying still that police keeping turning up even when no crime has occurred. You’d think police call handlers would ask the caller if they’d observed a crime taking place, or have any reason to believe one had taken place before committing resources. (After all, we keep being told how under resourced they are)

The police are just another corporate business their main responsibilities are generating revenue from other corporations (us, you) as the country's operating in a maritime law jurisdiction and the police are officer's not constables they're duty is to keep the flow of shipping lanes (road's, highways, streets) clear from obstruction (us, you) this is why they answer a corporate call in a flash but a domestic or common law crime when they can be bothered. This may seem odd but it's actually how they work. They themselves don't even know apart from those in high command positions.

Why is it the same EVERY time the police come and agree you're doing nothing illegal, and are perfectly entitled to be doing what you're doing, where you're doing it. There is always then a little pause, before they start asking questions about what you are filming, what you're going to do with it, and often ask your name!! After just telling you, you're doing a perfectly lawful activity! They NEVER just get back in the car once they've told you that. Yet they don't do it to people carrying out other lawful activities. They all have this strange addiction to trying to dig for information from anyone with a camera.
