Might also be the original MW2005 protagonist getting caught and released from prison after the events of NFS Carbon. After finding out about the events of Heat and that the car was restored after the crash during Carbon’s intro our OG character paid the Unbound protagonist to deliver the car back to them. Idk the NFS canon is really disorganized and this mission was prob just an excuse to have the iconic M3 GTR in the game anyway.

@@dvdbox360 i mean... it's just a pun ('razor's edge' is just another way to say 'dangerously'), a nod to a character from the game that actually had a name... is it ever explicitly stated that it's delivered to Razor? if not, I'd guess that it's the MC that want's his car back. but... if it is Razor and this is a setup for Ryan Cooper to hear about an M3 making waves, resurgnace of the blacklist and him finally steping up for it... man that would be one hell of a good game. Hell, just the confirmation that Ryan Cooper is the same MC as Carbon and MW will break the internet alone. So many things EA can do here, I just hope they strike while the iron is still red hot!

Many people are forgetting the fact that Ryan Cooper (who many believe is the Player in MW'05) got arrested in NFS Undercover, we get to know this information via a police radio chat in the game. My theory is that after the MW'05 events and Carbon events, Ryan (or the player) got arrested and was still arrested till the end of Heat, after knowing that the M3 was still out there because of the events of Heat, in Unbound, he decided to get the car back. If it was Razor though, I dont understand why he would want the car back, he probably has a obsession with the M3 or something. But that's just a theory, A GAME THEORY

Doesn’t make sense to me cause there is no need for Razor to come back after 17 years. Plus the car was won by the hero completely in the end, putting an end to Razor’s reign. Plus dealing with Razor and his crew with Cross in the town was actually “walking on razor’s edge “ for our hero. There could be a case where our protagonist has been ditched again and for some reason he got sent to jail. Now that he is out, he wants the car back. Maybe he met Mercer in jail, who knows. Maybe this is the opening to MW2. Criterion’s way of making it back to people for MW2012.

This brings more theories about the whole Need For Speed storyline, Razor final got released (No Limits is not exactly canon to the story due to limited time events) Razor still wants revenge to the Ghost Driver, and the player says that he/she believes driving that car before... But adding logic (in my point of view) Unbound characters barely are on their 30s and Razor should be close to his 50s (or 45 years old max) making our character approximately 5 years old or less during the Most Wanted events

Maybe the reason why is because we totaled the m3gtr in the start of carbon, if the player wants it back , we could've have a nfs carbon .5 where we are gonna take our car back, but no we didnt have a game like that. Instead we continued on the events on carbon and now the player is fallen inlove with the audi lemans quattro and ruled palmont city. Then when the car finnaly got restored in heat and now in the city of unbound, thats the time that razor got out of jail and wanted his car back, even though its not his car and he is just obsessed with it

If you people are not fimiliar with NFS lore, MW2005 player gets aressted in NFS undercover, and his release from prison coincides with nfs unbound timing. Cross made a deal with Nikki in NFS Carbon where he freed the player and Nikki would pay off the 150k bounty that the player has - Darius was supposed to pay it off but he betrays you. I think who get the M3 it's the protagonist of Most Wanted/Carbon, and now that he got the car again, open doors for a possible "Most Wanted 3, the return of the #1". But have chances of Razor who got the M3, but I still believe that is the protagonist of MW/CARBON. Thinking in that way, what happened to Mia and Rog? They helped us in the entire Most Wanted game, I have a theory that Mia is the new sargent, now that Cross left Rosevelt and goes to Palmont in Carbon. Totally not him It would probably be the player himself Cus Razor got released since 2015 in NFS No limits and appears in special event it is also found that he already got his 2015 Mustang (With his livery) and the M4 (yes M4 Razor) so why would he need the M3 again It's also possible that there's 2 M3 GTRs cus 1 of them is appears in No limits as a giveaway car that built by Player himself (he leaves a note tells (another) player that are you worth enough for this car) And the another one is got wrecked in Carbon -> Darius rebuild it and sold it to Mercer -> another Player wrecks it -> The player sends it to Rydell to fix it up and deliver it to him The others that found in other nfs is probably a replica since those doesn't have any stories behind it

I think the client is rezor and along with him are his friends (ronnie/bull) . The script gave 2 queues. First, the player said that it feels like he did it in the past and second, saying the words "collection" and "razor's edge" . In NFSMW 05 razor tells us that he wants to put our cars on his collection. So that line confirms that the client is razor. Also, last thing we know about razor is that he's in prison (even his real actor knows this) and the player never ended up in jail. I think EA is now thinking of getting razor back on next NFS's.

Well the one who called the car maybe its the player, if we take most wanted 2 unfinished project game, the player says that he's been hunted down after carbon (idk of this true or not) and the player riding a m3 e92 in the game, and the car itself is like a sign of redemption. Theories gone wild with this car, and if we see the beta menu of nfs mw2, we see a black m3 e92 modified, hinting something about a player that's missing something. If EA and criterion wanted to revive the old mw2 project, they need to adapt and make an ending where we as the player called the m3 to be sended to us in lakeshore city...

What you've made is an headcanon/fan theory. After NFS Carbon, the BMW M3 E46 GTR appeared as a nostalgia cameo and a reference to the past.

At 5:23, Yaz talks about or refers to the protagonist of NFS MW and NFS Carbon which ended up in jail after Razor cheated the race and stole his car. Then after being released from jail due to a lack of proofs, the Player which is yourself decides to take his revenge against Razor in order to get his car back.
