Someone said I play like Nova King and it made my day, it was an orochi mirror match rep 10 vs 48 and I was the rep 10. I won after a good match and I was never praised like that or acknowledged before and I didn’t know who he was till I searched him up and found we have similar play style hahaha! I would suggest that Orochi gets a lot of mileage from the double heavy feint into GB due to him having the notoriously predictable playstyle of light spamming. This also goes for any character with a moveset that has a fast light follow up from heavies. Not a lot of people fall for the heavy feint into light in high level play. That explains why the Highlander was trying to get Crushing Counters.

Nova, you inspired me to try out Orochi and before I thought Orochi was just a light spammer. I knew he had good deflects and such, but not that deep in terms of mindgames and skill. Well I was wrong. He actually has mindgame and skill potencial, but it could and should be expanded with a few buffs or more likely a rework. The best mindgame tool he has imo is the back dodge heavy. It can be feinted, you can either parry, guardbreak or the juiciest of them all, deflect. But sadly the other options are lightspam, but it is only good at shutting down a combo or just to piss the opponent off and delaying and feinting combo heavies, but at high level, these can be shut down easily, especially on PC. This is why he needs a rework. He needs more mindgame tools and a better offense. I know he is a defensive character, but when you are against a turtle, it is a pain in the butt for both you and your opponent. It is just not fun to lightspam. This is why he needs a better offense, which I hope we all agree upon. But anyways, thanks Nova for highlighting me Orochi's real capabilities, and I wish you great fights on the battlefields of For Honor. Also I hope my english was understandable, because it is not my native language. Anyways, thanks for reading! :)

Tbh anyone who max reps an Orochi in pvp is kinda impossible to duel they adapt to well and have to diverse of a playstyle utilize the kit in so many ways and than throw in punish parry punish baits with mind games for easy punish parry gbz or deflects for safe measure plus the ability to deflect highlander pommel strikes id perfer either rep 70 to nova try hard orochis are a nightmare
