Hi Charles, yeah I agree it would be great to be above poverty like the 125% they have talked about, I also like the extra $200 a month for $2,400 a year more. Bottom line due to inflation across everything it’s been tough. Especially when you have about $2,000 truck repair bill and also need repairs on the house you live in. We just need more to get our heads above water, so we aren’t back logged with say repairs or paying off old debts.

It’s not going to ever happen that way, even once the bill is signed into law, the added bonus to Social Security will not take place right away! When, it comes to Social Security Reform, once the added bonus takes in effect, that will be at discretion of the Social Security Administration and, when, it is signed into law by Biden and, there not going to get it done till the end of the year going into the fist of year,because, they for one have to update their system and, it takes time to do that! Then, the Social Security Administration will always notify you by mail first through a letter just like they always do, nothing is or ever will just drop in your bank account when, the U.S. government is involved, duh!

I went to the store yesterday spent 200.00 and got food for a week with 1 package of hamburger I small box of sausage patties. 2 loafs bread 1 gallon of milk case of tuna few other things. I can't believe how much food is anymore are they trying to starve out people. everyone needs 2000.00 just for food.❤

Judy - I truly get where your coming from money stress filters through everything in your life. Then you have people say oh why don’t your fix this or that on your house, and your reply is oh yeah I’m aware that the house has needs but with what money, then they look at you like your from Mars or something. I’ve stopped saying anything about what I wish would happen. I just keep that to myself so I don’t have to listen to them. It gets depressing, and I agree that it affects your health and your emotional being, STAY Strong Judy. I keep on the look out for help or assistance from my area I got some for a water bill last month. Are you in one of the states that hasn’t done much for there low income citizens? I’m in one of those. I also go to a really good food bank in my town every 30 days because I I get less than $100 a month in SNAP. Every little bit helps, my enrollment in Medicaid still hasn’t come in so my Soc security got hit with - about $170 a month. So Judy I will keep you in my thoughts hoping thing will change soon.

No. You would just have a certain amount of time to spend it, or just withdraw it, before it’s counted against you. Just like the last stimulus money or a tax return.
