Here I am two years later watching you ride a Ryker 600. We love ours. Haha. Thanks Shawn!!

Guess it pays to check your lights before you leave your house or garage. Great video Shawn, I'd like to get a ryker 600 one day

Hi Shawn, Being a tech myself (Electronics) I can sympathize with you on not being compensated for troubleshooting an undocumented problem. But… finding an undocumented manufacturing flaw not only should you get your time reimbursed, but given a bonus for publishing it. I do enjoy most of your after-work rides, but your motorcycle tips are why I’m here. I did enjoy meeting you and Kelly that one summer and you know I'll drop in again the next time I’m near Vancouver. Ride safe. -JackinSpokane

And here I've been extolling the turn signal switch on the Ryker versus the switch on the Spyder..! It's still a frequent annoyance cancelling the turn signal on the Spyder, but no more. I don't need any mystery signals on the Spyder! Thank ALOT for the vlog and another of your subscribers for the info. Love to learn new things while enjoying your vlog. Be safe..!

All you need to do is get yourself a Ryker 600 and then you and Kelly can switch out, like, every other rip and both of you can be happy as a couple of birds in a brand new nest. Oh, and you'll probably need a bigger garage otherwise you won't be able to move around with all the bikes. Talk about the confusion of trying to decide which bike to ride on any particular evening!

Because of your videos and some other rider's, my wife and I decided to commit and pick one up next spring/summer. Hopefully, we will be able to go to the Can-Am training program next year before that. We live in a pretty rough road area so we're thinking of giving the Rally a go. Looks like it has better suspension, tires, and a tad more ground clearance. We absolutely LOVE your channel. Keep up the great work!

How incredibly frustrating! BRP needs to give a better "explanation" of their "exclamation" mark and what it represents when it appears. Maybe someday soon y'all can make a trip eastward in the state to the Spokane area and show the world its beauty? It's Fri-Yay! I hope it's a great one! Peace and love.

I know how you feel, had a 99 Camaro and the cruise control stopped working, turns out one of the bulbs in the third break light went out and that's why the cruise control stopped working, what the hell.

Nice catch by a viewer. It has to be frustrating as a tech that there is no explanation on what criteria is used to activate the indicator and that no code is generated, giving no idea on where to start looking.

Shawn most of us have done that some time in our lives. I know I have done that, something had me scratching my head. Someone comes along & boom points out something so obvious, that if it had been a snake it would have bitten me. That's when we are even harder on ourselves......lol

not leaving space in-between vehicles must be a Portland/Vancouver thing! Whenever I park in a mostly empty lot, some jerk ALWAYS parks immediately next to me!

Noticed you kept saying you really liked the 600. Getting ready to buy soon, was looking at the 900, but wondering if the 600 would be cool. Can’t get a straight answer on how fast either goes. What’s your thoughts/opinion on the 600 vs 900? Thanx in advance!

Yes I just knew you would work it out, better that it is simple and a easy fix than a major issue for the customer. The 600 is interesting, spunky bike and very cool👍

I once spent 3 hours in the middle of the night with a Mazda3 refusing to disengage gearshift when depressing the break pedal. In campground, hooked up to a jet ski trailer. Thank, gd for Internet. Turns out it was a blown fuse for rear break light. Are you kidding me? Did they actually design the wiring that way or it just sort of happened?

Hey there. I am trying to decide weather to get a 600 or 900. I would be more city driving but would it do a road trip? No more than 2 hours highway driving some back roads. Nothing too extensive. What do you think? Thanks

SInce the Ryker has no windshield, how is the chest pressure when riding at higher speeds?
@hillie475 жыл бұрын
About 6 weeks ago I switched from a semi-ADV bike (Honda CB500X) to a naked (Kawasaki Z900RS) and at first I had to get used to it. The small windscreen on the Honda was kind of a pain as it would create a half-funnel of the air going to my torso being redirected to my helmet. So the funnel effect is gone on the naked, making it easier on my head, but I got some wind on the chest in return. Less buffeting/hammering too, it's more a consistent airflow, less variation. You get used to it after a little while, it's honestly no problem anymore, for me at least. It'll vary from person to person of course, some need to full fairing and high screen setup to be able to ride comfortably, others don't.
