It's strange that you chose to comment that on the video where they have to play the song to figure out what part is being referred to, then all discuss beat numbers to find the right timing. There are videos where they are much more in tune with each other than this one. This is pretty explicit verbal communication by comparison.
@LovelyMelody_5696

@@lambdaman3228 I mean they were all on the same wave length while figuring it out. As a non-musician I would not be able to catch on that quick to what they were each suggesting. Even through figuring it out they flow smoothly through it. It may not be telepathically, but they immediately connect on the idea once it’s thrown out there. If you’re not used to having others instantly understand you I can see why many might get the vibe of them being connected with Bluetooth.

Marmots are large ground squirrels in the genus Marmota, with 15 species living in Asia, Europe, and North America. These herbivores are active during the summer, when they can often be found in groups, but are not seen during the winter, when they hibernate underground. They are the heaviest members of the squirrel family. Now you know!

This is actually really helpful to watch as an example of how to communicate musical ideas to other people in a group! I have really been struggling with this personally in the jazz choir that I'm in because people are generally not good with measure numbers, so it's very smart to use a direct example of the part and the way you want it musically done like in this video!

This reminds me of Bossa Nova. Gives me “The Girl from Ipanema” vibes. What do you call nostalgia that you feel that’s not yours? I was born way after bossa nova way far from Brazil, but it’s in my heart❤

Guy on keys teaches high school music. (That's a compliment. Quickly understands what's being said, and is able to break it down right to the fundamental of what needs to be done.)

I hope the album version sounds like this - these clips are so beautiful and the album versions have A LOT going on. Not that they’re bad, just that these soft minimalist versions are just *chefs kiss*

No, she hits the notes but she doesn't use a lot of air when she sings, which makes her sound exhausted and strained. I would assume that it's a concious choice?

@@slothisasin8240I think it’s so they can do long sessions of training without her voice getting too strained, so she hits the notes, but just barely, so everyone can get a solid training session in. If she put her all in to every note every time, I would assume that she would get pretty tired.
