2004 feels like yesterday. Cant belive its almost close to 20 years !

I love listening to him express himself. He was a brilliant, truly whole person. He remained true to himself and steadfast in his beliefs; confident in his convictions - even in the harsh wind of all of that fame & judgment - and from such a young age! It's a very rare trait for someone in his position. Of course, he had his flaws & weaknesses - we all do. But he was a beautiful, gifted, intelligent & generous soul. The world would be a completely different place if everyone in a position of power & influence such as his had just a fraction of his dignity. He's so very missed!!😖 We sure could use that positive energy these days. So happy he left behind a big part of himself for us & future generations. 🫶😎🎸🎶☮️

@@bettesteinmetz7516 Yes!! Thanks for spreading the word! I've been voting (ONLY for GM so other's numbers don't go up, too) every day since day one - and will continue to do so until April 28th. GM had the lead (i.e. #1)for a short time! I'm sick that he was over 6,000 votes down from Cyndi Lauper this morning 2/9/23. Don't get me wrong, she's incredible... but, seriously? No!! My husband & any friends & family we can reach out to are voting daily, too. Let's go people! GM absolutely deserves this - hands down!!!

I enjoy listening his voice so clearly, so I could understand everything he said! He was so inteligent and a "clean" soul, maybe an Angel, he could see better and better, the dirty world we are living, by the time he was growing! So, he could open so many minds and souls, helping in this way! Thank you George for everything!

I love that about his mum being so excitable when he was performing, it's the sweetest thing. Him not having children is rather irrelevant as (1) he was a child, knows what certain issues hurt/help/hinder a child(red) and also he was a man bursting with empathy and an understanding of the world and aware of what harm is lurking out there for so many children.
