Regarding Muzan being able to read minds, though they haven’t explained it yet, my guess is that because his blood is in all demons, he has an ability to use his blood cells in their bodies to sense them and control them. And the more a demon has his blood (like the Kizuki), the more control he has over them, and thus he may even be able to read their minds. Nezuko and Dr. Tamayo, however, may be exceptions, because they were able to deviate / mutate their demon blood and essence, so they slipped from his control. The Kanao and Tanjiro ship is cute. Though you didn’t question it in this video, there was a moment that Kanao was sold and being taken away to town. Though there was no actual slavery in Japan, there was a practice of adults “selling” their children as a form of loan collateral. They were taken to brothels where the kids had to work off their parents’ loans. Usually, the amount of the loans were so big that they had to work until their adulthood. The Entertainment District (Yoshiwara) in Season Two, was such a place where the kids were “sold” off to.
