Careful with spoilers in the comments (even for anime onlys) 14:00 I feel in the anime it's not conveyed just how much doubt Oikawa had on continuing playing volleyball after high school, he trully was thinking of quitting, so Iwa's words are soooo deep, he is telling him to continue without a second thought because he believes Oikawa will, without a doubt, achieve great things 🥺🥺 18:33 I mean, his team has won matches that were 25-6, that's on a whole other level. Besides he plays for the national team, sure it's the u19 divition, but it's an amazing feat. Nothing he says is incorrect, it's all backed by evidence. And regarding Hinata and Karasuno, imagine being Ushijima, or that he is the mc, you are the top of the top, in the best 3 aces in the whole country, have taken your team to nationals 5 times, out of 5, already (that's just high school) and out of no where a kid, whose team didn't even make it to top four in the prefecture, didn't beat a team with a player you respect but defeated for years, and with 0 technique (Hinata still sucks at most things, especially at that time) tells you that he'll beat you, personally I'll be incrredibly ofended, but Ushijima actually accepts the challenge, and even says he's looking fowards to it

Truth to be told, Oikawa was tooo good for his own team..i mean bro just built different, not just in anime even thoughout end of the manga. btw nice reaction ☺️

It's victory for our Karasuno boys, but in that moment, there's an emotional pull that Oikawa was a main character who just failed. 28:12 Best receive: I would give it to Iwaizumi. Not just this episode, but the entire match, he was receiving consistently like a backup libero. In this episode though, he dug 2 out of 3 of our best servers, back to back.

I always have a hard time rewatching or rereading this match, I sometimes skip it if I'm not in the best mood. I mean the moments are awsome but I just can't see Seijoh losing🥺 11:12 That's the same thing Kageyama said to Hinata when he was down about not being an ace 23:20 fun fact, at the end of one of the chapters of this episode they show an Oikawa doodle thinking something like "Who's brilliant idea was to name him Mr. Refreshing anyway? ...I'm that idiot" 23:46 the "I won't lose" is much more powerful than you think. I watched a great analysis video on Oikawa (but it has manga spoilers so can't recommend now) where he said that despite being sure of winning in the first match Oikawa felt defeated, you can see the expressions in season one, it didn't feel like a winner, he even states that "Tobio, I might lose to you one day" already accepting it as a fact no matter the outcame of that match he would eventually lose. But in this match, despite being in the brinck of losing his final high school match, without acheiving anything past his prefecture and having doubts if he should even continue playing the sport he loves, right now he says "I won't lose" he doesn't say "today" or "this match" simply that he won't lose, I find it soooo powerful. Of course the video explained it much better and went into more detail with how you can see the defeat and desperation in Oikawa in the first match, but that's the gist of it 24:43 this man isn't a throw away random character, there is a reason for everything in Haikyuu, but it may be cut from being animated. If it's not obvious I'm trying to give you more reasons to read the manga😅 25:47 everything about this is amazing, the set is unbelievable, the fact that Iwa gets it is amazing, but the little detail of Oikawa not only giving his everything till the last second (risking doing a set instead of giving the other team a chance ball) but even slipping while getting up and getting to perfect position agffhaga I could talk about it for hours 26:23 this spike is often overlooked, but it's incredibly difficult and risky to pull off 28:12 thanks for giving Oikawa his well deserved props but the incredible thing is, that wasn't a receive (you could call it a save if you really want), normally players would go underhand, most likely even give a chance ball to the other team(that's why Karasuno shouted that before seeing the point), what Oikawa did was a perfect set. If we are talking receiving then it would have to go to Iwa imo, I know you where talking specifically that rally but well, I want to give Iwa his props 34:10 I may be saying nonesence right now but I feel that, if I remember correctly, Oikawa purpousefully didn't serve to Noya because of what happend last match, and of course the rest of the team wouldn't try to target the libero, but I could be miss remembering The reaction channel Carlie and Ange bought pretty good jerseys, at least I know they like them because they wear them for other anime reactions. Don't know if you'll be able to contact them, but who knows?
