Yeah that’s true but we weren’t referring to the fatality rate. We meant stakes as in the likelihood/easiness of passing. The first test was presented like “catch this stille and make sure all team members are present by this time”. With the second test, they talked about how no one’s ever passed Sense’s tests before and many have never gotten to the bottom of the tomb. Then you have Frieren’s replica coming in which the show portrays it as almost impossible to beat. It feels like the second test is just a lot harder to pass than the first test

@@SxSReacts I kinda get where you’re coming from however I think you’re confusing 2 things , The Tomb isn’t always Sense’s test, this is actually the first time Sense is using the Tomb as a test site. The conversation with the first exam proctor clears it up, he asks her why she decided to conduct a test at an unexplored tomb, these tombs have never been conquered ,there have been previous attempts by adventurers not by test takers(that also explains why she didn’t know where the traps were). If I remember correctly they said the last 4 exams Sense proctored no one passed, that’s slightly different from no one ever passing before (I could be wrong on this one though). The last point yes ,Frierens clone is here but so is Frieren, they have the luxury of working as a group and the size of the group isn’t limited. Perspective is important too, who is it more difficult for? Imagine if Frieren wasn’t here, forget failing Lawine and Kanae would have been killed by Ricther . The same mages who passed the first are still likely to pass the second but you’re less likely to die in the second phase ironically

@@SxSReacts in the early ep (I think after practice match against Aoba Josai, Tanaka/Suga(?) specifically describe Noya as a genius in their team, and later correcting himself that is no longer Noya alone the genius team player in karasuno since Kageyama has joint). If anything, Noya is well known purely for his skill but Kageyama is known for his title King partly bc of his skill but also the tyrannical King he was back then. Remember when Tsukki said that he went to see for himself what was the fuss is all abt that "king" title of his.
