1. Black Sabbath is *such* a cool stand. Shame its not used very much 2. Giorno killing Polpo was his Dio side overpowring his Joestar side for a bit, but it kind of makes you realise that this part doesn't pull its punches. Previous Part's protags mostly just beat up the villains, here they straight up *murder them* 99% of the time. And the bad guys would do the same if the situation was reversed.

Also, I like how while Jonathan gets namedropped less and less (cause no one who knew him personally is still around), we do get a lotta nods to him and his magic sunlight kung fu with Giorno Giorno's life-giving stand invokes Jonathan's excess Hamon often causing flowers to bloom, plus Giorno's name literally meaning "day" and him being triumphantly framed in sun light during key moments, etc.

Giorno is both a blend of Jonathan and Dio. There are so many different examples of this but my go to example is the one in this episode. Giorno is determined to bring Polpol to justice for the act of killing an innocent old man (Jonathan influence), but his version of justice is an eye for an eye and boy he doesn’t hold back (Dio influence). he’s pretty fun to analyze. not only does he have Jonathan + Dio influenced traits but he also has his own that unfortunately formed from his childhood, ex; he doesn’t cry when he gets scared or sad, he’s great at reading people & has a great sense of intuition, he’s resilient and does not waver in his convictions. Also what makes him unique apart from other jojos is that Giorno himself is the instigator of the plot. Every other Jojo *reacts* to an active threat from a villain that has come to mess with them. There is currently no threat for Giorno to join passione. He has a goal and an ambition that he has set in motion for himself, which is very very much something Dio would do (and has done.) ahh he’s my 3rd favorite jojo ❤
