Freedom Caucus actually gutted $47 million from their budget, and Dettelback cried about this repeatedly during the hearings. States just need to take it into their own hands and ban the ATF from existing within their borders. If someone tapes my camera and tries to enter my home the last thing I’m thinking is “oh, it’s probably just the ATF placing tape over my camera, I should just comply and hope I’m right!” That tape over the camera signed his death warrant. They probably did that to elicit an aggravated or aggressive response. Maybe he was standoffish or pissed off someone at the ATF over the phone or through a post.
