Raven originally wasn’t supposed to be the main character (bc Disney couldn’t see a black girl leading the show at the time 😒) but when they shot test pilots Raven Symone was so much funnier than the other actresses that they rewrote the show to give her a legitimate chance BUT she insisted that if they did this, they put her name in the show.

That's So Raven is still a funny rewatch even now. Her physical comedy skills remain unmatched! Disney Channel has "Raven's Home" & it's a continuation of the original show where she's divorced from Devon and has kids. It's definitely more of the newer type of "kid's comedy" but Raven still has the same exact chemistry with Chelsea!

@@vijzon3223 Same! Disney is too scared to do it, though. Lizzie McGuire was supposed to get a more adult continuation but Hillary Duff came out and said Disney didn't want to have any adult storylines, so they pulled the plug. It sucks.

Such a great show. The episode where the store manager didn't hire Raven bc she's black taught me about racism at a young age, and now looking back I really appreciate that because I wasn't even exposed to black people as a kid.

I was a huge fan of this show and saw every episode. My favourite Raven moment is definitely when she dressed as her fake mother and saw Mr Petrocheli for the first time and dealing with Eddie's bully for him. I was dying laughing during the entire thing XDXD

I didn't know they are still keeping up with the sequel series Ravens Home. I think they are on season 5 but that is series is still more targeted at kids and teens. Everything is still nearly the same like from on here and the parents make cameos too 😀
