I was very excited to start boruto when I heard about it to the point I was just thinking about quickly finishing Naruto shippuden when I was at blank period arc wanting to see how all of them have grown up and the village as well and see their role now as a adult and parents now from kids and also to see how their kids are and to know them And even tho most people disliked the slice of life aspect of boruto I really liked it since it showcase how much the OGs are grown up and also the village and also this way we get to know much more about their kids this way and them now again fighting to death after 700 episodes of fighting to end this war and bring peace just to make all of those struggles meaningless but obviously peace is not ever lasting And the first scene really piqued my interest since I wanted to know how such a colourful village, environment and atmosphere everything turn so dark As for boruto just like the anime while most people didn't like him and his bratty attitude i actually liked his bratty attitude since it was such a nice change of pace from the usual main character at that time who are not just too good or too kind hearted it was such a unique character trait for me And he was also not too bratty to the point of annoyance or unbearableness since he was a brat with a logic and innocence And also with the first scene I was very curious about how such a carefree and cheerful boy turned into whatever he was in that scene As for side characters Like thought denki was FL at first 😂 As for sarada even tho we didn't even show her much i liked her character just from that classic glasses push

I miss the time when boruto's story used to be wholesome. Now, it's much more serious in the manga 😕😕😕. It's not a bad thing but I still miss this wholesome slice of life theme of the early boruto.

Despite the new technology that really feels like a breath of fresh air. And YES. I think people don't really get it right now that this is just my first impression of Boruto and despite not liking his bratty behavior, I still enjoy watching him and the whole show :D. 1-Boruto doesn't know nothing about naruto they never told him anything so at this point he thinks naruto is a bum who is ignoring his familly. 2-You shouldn't be comparing both, they have different childhoods yes naruto had it hard but boruto doesn't have to suffer the same it's different times. However he does suffer down the road. 3-Boruto being a brat is done on purpose cause he is meant to be the oposite to naruto, he is the boy who starts with everything and loses it all. 4-Boruto is a prodigy he is already much stronger than kid naruto you will see, he has the IQ of minato. 5-His dojutsu is called jougan it's unique from the otsutsuki clan. 6-His necklace represents him not tsunade, his original name was Bolt 🔩.

17:47 No, that tsunade necklace was destroyed by Naruto himself when he was taken over by kurama during his fight against pain. This necklace around Boruto's neck is actually a screw as a relic for remembering his late uncle Neji. Since, Neji in japanese means " Screw ". And by the way Boruto means " Bolt 🔩" In Japanese. His name was inspired by Neji's name which means " Screws " In Japanese.

@@Sadako-T-V what I meant was he is a prodigy like Minato, Itachi, Kakashi etc. BORUTO is doing great academically (you'll see in the Parent's teacher meeting episode), he learns everything quick, he can perform jutsu better than Naruto (when Naruto was a kid). You'll get it after 10-15 Episodes Ohh and the EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT part , you'll see it after the BYAKUYA INCIDENT and mostly after the OTSUTSUKI INVASION, just wait and watch 😉

The issue is Boruto grew up with Naruto always around before he became hokage and Himawari grew up when Naruto is never at home so shes used to it. Boruto just misses his dad he is a good kid and brother

Manga Canon Episodes: 1,19-23, 39, 53-66, 148-151, 181-189, 192-208, 212-220, 287-293 btw episode 1 is mixed manga / novel canon. from ep 1 to 15 is also novel canon. along with ep 25 - 32 and 34 - 37 as well. I recommend watching these , since these arcs covers boruto's life before becoming a genin/shinobi which was not in the manga. the manga starts with boruto already being a genin.

@@Sadako-T-V If you happen to be bored with the show. Watch only the Actuation Kara arc which was only an arc that is relevant to the manga story. After that go straight to the manga canon episodes. Those "Canon anime" episodes I call them filler because they never reference to any stories from the manga. They did so many Canon Anime episodes because the amount of manga chapters for Boruto was pretty low at the very beginning of starting this show. After 50 + episodes they finally get some manga material in anime.

I was someone who thought Boruto was a brat at first and then he grew on me as I continued to watch the series and he is now one of my favorite characters. I also read the complete Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga and I’m currently reading the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, which is up to 17 chapters, so I can’t wait until chapter 18 releases. I’m sure you will love the series eventually.💞

5:16 Well actually, Naruto was not that ancient. They literally had TV's and stuff in the manga ( in early chapter in sasuke's room in his apartment had a tv). Plus orochimaru was doing scientific stuff back in op Naruto and shippuden. Technology wise it was much closer to 1980's era. It's only that shinobi's back then were more focused on military build up rather than using resources for these civilian luxuries. But, since now there is more peace the modernization sky rocketed in this world. But, still no cars 😂😂😂

The show gets more and more serious later. Then Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura appear for fights and they are great to see. Just make it to approximately Episode 25 and then Episode 65(Made into a movie) to get your nostalgia pumping. Hopefully by then you’ll have a better grasp at understanding characters from their own point of view. Make sure you’ve seen characters interact with others to get a better idea of who the character is and can be in the future. Remember that Boruto and his sister were born from 2 of the most powerful people from their family tree. Boruto and his sister hit the Genetics lottery. About the reaction. Most viewers will get annoyed at certain things being done or said. Hopefully, they will fade away and get corrected the further they go into the show. Hope you see the Adults do their thing and also the kids. May you enjoy Boruto.

I suggest don't skip any episode, I know there are many fillers but dont skip any untill the first 70 episodes because if you do you will miss the character development Boruto gets during the Byakuya Gang arc. Watch every episode untill the Otsutsuki Invasion arc, you will see the transition from Hokage hating Boruto to a more Mature boruto (I'M SOMEHOW CONTAINING MY INSTICTS, MAAAANNN I CAN'T CONTROL THE URGE TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT ALL HAPPENS TO BROUTO DURING THAT BYAKUYA ARC) Basically if you want to get the full experience of the transition from SPOILED BRAT BORUTO to our dear and beloved YOUNG LORD BORUTO, you musn't miss any of the first 70 episodes MILD SOPILER AHEAD: The moment when Naruto protects the village from the OTSUTSUKIS and takes all the attacks on himself while smiling to Boruto before passing out is just PEAK ANIME for me

Well to me, the B-D rank arcs in Boruto are equivalent to the filler arcs from Naruto. So imagine what the F-level episodes would feel like? They're good as their own, but when you have the 'canon' episodes that don't hit the same as the manga canon ones, and then there are stuff that's supposed to be lower in quality than the canons...? I don't think it's for everyone but I respect everyone's preference 🙏🏼

Mind you, Boruto is only 12 years old right now. He doesn’t care about the Hokage’s responsibilities and all that, he just wants his father to be around like he was before becoming Hokage. He basically blames the hokage’s title for his father’s absence. To be honest, Boruto is way more chill compared to Naruto when he was a child. Naruto was always bitter towards people, especially new ones. Boruto, on the other hand, is more friendly towards new people. He does have a problem with authority and tends to ignore the rules, but he’s a nice person and a good brother. Just like his father, he will never give up on a friend.

Anko had ALWAYS eaten WAY more than she should have but because of Orochimaru's curse mark, it would enhance her metabolism to the point she wouldn't get fat from eating anything. Once it was removed by the end of Shippuden she continued to eat just as much but didn't have the super high metabolism... so she got fat chowing down on too many dumplings, she never knew the term "Portion Control" before or after she had the super metabolism.

You are not really comparing Borutos current „sadness“ (his father not having enough time for him while he is surrounded by other family members and friends) with Naruto (who was literally an orphan living on his own abandoned and distrusted by almost everyone), do you? This isn’t a sad childhood Boruto is having. He is facing a little problem and it’s not like Naruto doesn’t spent time with him at all and he even gets more opportunities spending time with him which he openly refuses to use. Come on man. Gaara, Sasugay, heck even Lee and Neji had a sad childhood. Not Boruto. At least not now / what I’ve seen so far.

I am a Boruto fan from the beginning until now, still following the series, which is Boruto as a teenager. I have never missed a single episode, and I want you to follow the Boruto series until the end. 1. You need to look at the "Boruto filler list." If you want to enjoy all the episodes, feel free to do so, but it will take a long time if you want to know the main story like in the manga. 2. You need to endure watching Boruto's character, who seems to hate Naruto and ninjas. In essence, he does not hate them; he just wants attention from Naruto like any typical child today. Fun fact: Kishimoto created Boruto's character traits inspired by his own son, who needed his father's attention because he was busy working. 3. If you want to continue this series, you should not compare it with Naruto's story because the authors are different, and life in this world is modern, making it very different if you want to compare them. 4. Good reaction! but, Boruto is a kid why are people so hard on this kid that he misses his dad, nothing wrong with a kid wanting to hang out with his dad. People always go with the route of defending naruto and calling boruto a brat he's ltierally 7, a kid will be a kid u cant fault him for that. I get you biased siding with naruto but understand its a kid he' literally 7 years old. And lets be real who cares what his father did for the ninja world thats not a licence to not take care of your kid.

Don't get me wrong: I don't think Naruto is innocent here either. I don't defend him entirely and I also think he's doing a bad job parenting, but Boruto - if he is really as smart as people claim he is - he should understand that Naruto isn't neglecting him on purpose or out of malice as he makes it out to be.

@ u missed my whole point that he's a kid a 7 year old cant understand what you just said about lacking empathy and all that you just mentioned when he's just 7 a 7 year all cant fully understand all of that. He's a genius but not in every way. Like sasuke was a "genius" but he still did all he did in naruto being a genius doesnt mean i know every aspect of life he just battle smart.

Tbf in the first episode it doesn't seem like that he was missing his dad but that he is just being a brat towards his dad and that's clearly what the anime is trying to portray You can't expect her to understand that he missed him when the anime is literally not showing that in the first episode Nothing wrong with being a brat to towards his dad cuz that's still one kind of love

i don't disagree with you but I'm really skeptical you're judging children from adult perspective if you really think you're mature as kid, then i can assure you're not at all, that's your self bias all children need attention and love, this is boruto pov not naruto pov I don't like boruto brattiness as well, but you judging him from adult perspective doesn't really help at all I'm sorry ❤

I appreciate your perspective and the thought you put into your comment ❤, but I have to respectfully disagree. While I understand that Boruto’s actions are meant to reflect a child’s need for attention, I believe children can often display more maturity and emotional intelligence than they’re sometimes given credit for. That’s not to say Boruto’s feelings aren’t valid-they absolutely are! But his brattiness feels excessive to me, even for a kid. Of course, I know this is part of his character arc, and I’ll keep watching to see how he develops. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts-it’s always great to have these discussions and hear different viewpoints!

"Boruto" is 1 of the series that got hated by many due to fillers, pacing, and oftenly inconsistant in animation. This is due to studio often outsourced the episode to other studio because they overload with other anime like Bleach, black clover. It only get good whenever manga episode arrived but in the end hiatus due to studio messed up the schedule and overworked employee. Just a quick noted for the time being because this might be a long journey for all new watchers if you still stay with the series till the end.

Out of all the Anime where I've seen both SUB and DUB there has been maybe 3-5 characters in all of anime where there SUB Voice sounds better than their DUB voice.

​@@Sadako-T-Vgood thing because this arc is not really filler since even tho it's not in manga chapter format manga makes a reference of this arc and after it's novelization it is enlisted in the official chronological order of Naruto aka timeline making it canon to the series And since boruto anime is pretty much worked on by kishimoto and former manga writer of boruto at least in the early 65s episode it feels mostly canon and is actually is for the most part
