This happens to every singer, even Elton John or Billy Joel. Just the the fact that she’s out entertaining is terrific.

Don’t know why this showed up on my KZbin feed. I haven’t listened to Amy Grant since she stopped singing Christian music. I used to love listening to her back the day when her voice sounded soft and tender. That being said, she sounds terrible and I don’t think singing a lower key would help. What a shame.

@@jsanch4892 You should continue listening to Christian music. I believe you might have missed the part about loving the neighbor and not judging. Amy is fantastic. She also addressed her voice at the show and no one in the audience minded because we love Amy.

@@MikeDoria, no, didn’t miss about the “judging” part. The Bible doesn’t say to not judge…it says “Judge not, that you be not judged.” It doesn’t warn about judging, it warns about being judged in the same measure. Secondly, I didn’t say that I didn’t love her (my neighbor), I said I used to love listening to her singing back in the day, so get your facts straight. As for listening to Christian music, I still do, which Amy Grant does NOT sing. That is not judgement, that is fact and accurate. When your songs sound less like worshipping God then that a problem. Perhaps YOU should listen to Christian music. Have a great day.

@@jsanch4892 Well, I’d agree with you but then we’d both be wrong. Move along. Don’t need your negativity on my channel. And unless you sing or have an album, then you have no business critiquing what you don’t know. Sorry, not sorry.

@@MikeDoria you are wrong by a mile. But don’t worry, I won’t subscribe. You see, asking people to go away because of supposed negativity…. Wow. Not a good KZbinr strategy.

Yikes…Her vocals are just so awful now & have been since her early 50s. Amy was my fav singer for a good 25 yrs, but she just cannot sing live anymore.

She can still sing. And the fact that she’s still doing what she loves to do and continues to bring joy to those of us who listen ought to be commended, not condemned.

@@MikeDoriaagain… this viewer is just presenting facts and an honest opinion. Should he go out of your channel too?

@@cmorales5 The point is, its obvious her voice isn’t as strong as it once was. But to be rude and obnoxious about it is another thing. It’s not the having an honest opinion that’s the issue, it’s how it’s presented that it.

@@MikeDoria I understand… I just don’t think it was obnoxious. I mean this person was a 25 years fan. You know, she was my favorite singer for decades as well. I was very saddened with her Gay Agenda support, which is really a bad thing. I don’t care about the divorce saga and her voice erosion…. so there you go. I appreciate your response.

@@cmorales5 I guess all I’m saying is imaging is Amy were reading all of this…how would she feel? She’s one of the sweetest, kindest musicians I’ve ever seen on stage and I’ve been to well over 100 concerts in my lifetime. A persons two cents become priceless when using it to make someone else feel like a million bucks. Likewise, I appreciate your response too.
