My aunt use to play his Album in the car every Saturday when we'd go to the market with her. I'm so grateful she did. I heard a testimony on tin Tok that spoke about "God using what you have" asking "what's that in your hand". It immediately reminded me of this song and I've been listening to it on repeat. Never resonated as a child off, but God knew I would need this song as an adult, and He used my aunt to plant that seed for future fruit. God is so good!! WHO'S LISTENING IN 2023???!!!

At first I thought this song seemed to support the "works gospel" approach that teaches us that we should begin the process of doing God's work on our own strength, then when we run dry, we should "let go and let God" who steps in to "make up the difference." Of course, this is not the case. God orchestrates His work from beginning to end, and the examples of Moses's staff and the child's bread and fish only show how God prepares situations in advance (in the case of Moses, over 400 years in advance!) that bring Him--and only Him--glory.
