I'd joined Cognizant back in Nov 2021 as a PAT. I've completed 2 years and worked in a project for more than a year previously before taking a release. Right now I am a PA but as I've completed 2 years with cognizant I should be eligible for a promotion from PA to A this quarter right?!. Yesterday, I got my YEA rating. It is 2. HM stated that everything is good but your utilisation has decreased due to currently not being in a project so your YEA rating is 2. Am I going to get promoted even after a YEA rating of 2. Does YEA rating only count for promotion? If yes then can YEA rating change once it has been given?

Bro mujhe 2 Rating mila hai year end ka reason manager ne diya,becoz mai pahla project reject kr diya tha avi Salesforce technology pe kaam kr rha hun. To Associate role ke liye promotion kb aur kaise hoga ?? Just completed 2 years in cts

@@_rajgauravmail_ Means I joined cts in March 2022 as a fresher after training I allocated to a support project. Maine is project ko reject kr diya tha aur baad me apne interest ke according project mil gya. Ab mera 2 years complete hone wala hai aur mujhe manager ne year end rating 2 diya hai reason me bataya ki tumne project reject kiya tha tum proactive nhi ho . So question is Associate role ke liye promote kaise hoga ?? Aur kb tk wait krna hoga

That's correct man. As per my understanding in CTS ,your performance with deliverables has absolutely nothing to do with your rating or year end appraisal. Only if you complete bunch of courses and waste your time to score good marks that the only way to get a very good rating and hence appraisal There is no appraisal for meeting deliverables
