The Line is such an emotional song and knowing tyler wrote it about the experience of watching his grandmother pass away makes it hit even harder! i love the way tyler adds in moments like the scream in this song, to his live performances, which aren't on the original recording, it makes their live performances always feel fresh and exciting.
@puddle.drinker15 күн бұрын
his grandfather, affectionately known as grandpa fuz, also sadly passed just a day (i believe) before this performance as well. he was a big fan of the band and the fans also loved him quite a lot because he would attend shows every now and again. knowing this makes the performance hit a million times harder because you can hear that pain his his scream. (also, love the sai pfp

Arcane is one of the best pieces of media ever created and the music is a huge part of it
@Meddler15105 күн бұрын
I can only agree completely, Arcane as a whole stands out from everything I have ever seen in many decades. The music definitely plays a huge role in this, because it simply heightens the emotions extremely. But what I think is great: even without knowing the series, the music is really, really good, in combination with the emotions of the show, every track gives me goosebumps, I start dancing or crying. It really is an outstanding work of art in film history. After almost 20 years of having The Matrix as my favorite film, the title has easily gone to Arcane ❤

I think this song encapsulates perfectly why I don't like screamo as a genre, but I love songs that have a scream in them. The scream at a certain point (or points) in a song brings in a feeling of emotion but if the entire song is screamo it just feels like chaos to me rather than conveying building emotion, which is what I love out of music; the build. I hadn't actually heard this song before I watched the game awards and after watching immediately added this and the studio version to my playlist. absolutely epic sounding.
