Yes!!!!! More often than not, live performances aren’t done as well live. Twenty One Pilots writes music knowing they are going to present them to us live, so they know they have to deliver…and they most definitely do!!! 🙌✨

These guys pour their entire souls into every single note and word they write, and that that's never more obvious than when they perform live. Whether Tyler is stage-diving or just sitting at the piano, he's just mesmerizing, and it's the mark of a true once-in-a-lifetime talent, that his voice sounds just as good, if not better, live than it is recorded!

Oh my gosh!!! I was in therapy when this dropped, and I have never before been so excited to see a reaction video!!! Twenty One Pilots is soooooo amazing, album and live (I so want them to drop this as a song on Spotify with the scream). That scream was so emotionally powerful. I was with my sister while she was watching the awards. I had hung out just to hear this performance. I was already in love with it. I've seen them live twice; Tyler can do this no problem with anything he sings. But hearing that scream that is NOT in the original recording, I stopped what I was doing, and my sister went quiet. She then finally said, "...I'm running that back." No complaints from me. It was so impactful. I teared up. The guy that talks after (I don't know his name) was actually close to crying if you keep playing the clip. You could hear his voice crack when he said it was an emotional performance. Tyler and Josh continue to amaze me, and I hope they run a second US leg for their current tour.

On the scream part I went back 4 times. XD The first time to watch Kyles reaction, second time to watch Erics reaction. And then again! As you watched it the second time, Kyles reaction and then Erics reaction. Wanting to catch both of your expressions as the scream hits! (Only fam I have left is a sister & 2 nieces, the youngest is 10 & looks identical to 10yo me, genius IQ & all, the eldest has my "I'm so punk rock" style I've had since I was a teenager, &, tho she doesn't look anything like me, she inherited my taste in music, so I took her to see TØP on Clancy tour for her 18th bday & to celebrate surviving my 15th major surgery, resparking her love of TØP, so I bought her a full-sized Ned blanket for Xmas & both of us a set of the Clancy era Josh Don Signature drumsticks, so we both have a set w/the yellow & the red sticks, &, as my Christmas gift, having seen the random sketches she'd been doing of Tyler & Josh after the concert, I asked the 18yo collegiate art school student to do a formal TØP piece w/Tyler, Josh, & other TØP-related lore/imagery then have her mom frame it as my Christmas gift, &, tbe youngest asked what she could do for me, &, since she plays competitive sax & violin, I told her she could find 1 of our fav songs to listen to together & play it for me the best she can, & I'd be happy. I'm almost certain she's gonna play "The Line" for me bc I got she & her sister into Arcane AFTER I got into it when I learned it was good enough that Tyler Joseph would write a song for it, bc Tyler isn't 1 that willy-nilly puts his stamp on any other projects besides his music. So, I can't wait til Christmas eve or their mom's (my sister's) Yule Party tomorrow to see if they like their Christmas from me & to give Elaina her TØP merch as we watch Jolyn play her song choice for me.
