Thanks, I’ve been practicing a lot the past couple days. It’s sounding better all the time and I’m starting to put all the pieces together. Regarding your strumming, when you say accentuate certain strings, are you tending to hit the lower strings (E A D) with more power? Overall it sounds good but I can’t quite replicate your sound Also at 5:57 when you transition from one chord to another, it seems like the first strum is “quicker” ie the second strum comes sooner and it is more of a bass strum wherein you strike just the lowest strings? Thanks for any input 🙏 And I appreciate your kind words

Really great tutorial--not exactly how he plays it--but pretty much so. I would only add that the folk fingering/use of the thumb to play the bass F note while playing the F chord is needed if possible. I just did a cover of this song with that folk-fingering and I also included the "walk-up" he does from Em. Not the easiest song for sure, but definitely a beaut!

Thank you so much for this, there's not enough tutorials for this song on KZbin! I had a quick question though - at the end of the 1st verse, that instead of playing Riff 1 and 2 again before proceeding into the chorus, my ears tell me that it should be Riff 3 twice (The riff that goes 3p0 on the 5th string before playing 3 on the 6th string, or the last one in the intro)? I think they're close enough but I am unsure. Thank you again!
